    Hello,
Suddenly, with the ignition on, the low beam lights started to blink, and I noticed that the turn signals were not working.
After a while everything returned to normal.
I closed the car and returned after half an hour.
I opened the car, turned on the ignition and it turned out that the turn signals, wipers, emergency and long lights did not work and the car could not be closed by the remote control, it only works on the driver's door.
In addition, now when the ignition is switched on, the dipped and parking lights come on and after starting the engine failure, brake and park icons are displayed.

I buried a little at the fuse box and module at that box and found two wires cut off.
Those that leave the module are bridged, twisted together, and those that go to the installation cut off.
Green-brown and purple-white in the ankle with protection visible on the last photo.

In sprinters, the console is very often damaged (under the steering wheel it is combined with a switch from the directions and traffic lights) I do not know how you are but I was in my old 206D I could undress and clean the contacts because I had similar symptoms as in your case, but just in case check the wiring harness for anything disconnected, frayed etc.: check with a meter in the ankle whether there is a transition to all the contacts, i.e. the direction of the wiper, etc.
Ps, let someone who has such a car and maybe had similar symptoms because I do not want you to spoil something by me :)

The old and new Sprinter is a completely different design. The low beam is on because the system is in safe mode. I suspect that without connecting a computer you will wake up long and interesting. Regarding cut off wires: each plug on the module has a marking, each pin has its number. If you gave it, you could try to find something in the diagrams, because I doubt that based on the photo and colors of the wires you would want to look for something.

First I would look for water in plugs, tarnished masses and the effects of rodents.

    Thank you for your interest.
The plug is marked with X9, and the pins of the bridged wires are 6 and 40.
Yesterday I disconnected the battery and pulled out the entire fuse box together with the SAM module to take it to check. However, after talking to the diagnostician, I decided to check all the beams and cubes more carefully before I give the equipment for repair. I didn't find anything suspicious except for the two cables I wrote about earlier.
I connected the box and the module back, connected the battery and everything got fixed, only the engine failure icon was left
Happiness, however, did not last long.
Today, after starting the car, the meter began to blink, light BRAKE and so sometimes it was once good and sometimes bad.
Each disconnection of the battery returns everything to normal for a few minutes. Although it helped yesterday for several hours.
Tomorrow I'm going to connect the car to a computer. but if anyone has any ideas please help me.

I am in holida now and I don't have access to the stupid android, but in a few days it will be possible, I will try to check. The defective functions that you described are associated with the so-called MRM module (MantelRohrModul) - steering column module, and the engine control light may be a consequence of the interference of communication between the ESP module and the steering angle sensor. I would not expect green color on the plugs and the module in this car. Unless it is some conversion into a bus: - /

The jumper neutralizes pad wear sensors - the wear indicator does not come on.

After two weeks the problem returned.
    Symptoms are the same.
There is a problem with communication with the SAM module.

I replaced the SAM module, now everything is ok, I hope this is the end of the topic.

I confirm, module replacement did the trick. I close the topic
