Hello. I received an occasional subwoofer of low power KENWOOD KSC-WA62RC . From the beginning I will say - I am green in this topic, hence I am writing here, and I am not trying to search for knowledge myself. From what I was able to find out, this subwoofer has a built-in amplifier (2x30W). I would like to ask how to connect it to the car radio? If the subwoofer has an amplifier, will it only work when the RCA cables are connected, or do I also need to connect the power supply to it from the battery? Besides, I'm not sure if my radio (SONY cdx-l280 4x45w) is suitable for this. Attached is a photo of the inputs/outputs of the subwoofer. I am hoping for a detailed answer. Thank you in advance.

Of course, no amplifier is perpetual motion and needs power. The RCA output from the radio is a low-amplitude and low-current signal, and the speakers need power first of all. Hence, the amplifier without battery power will not play :)
Here http://inform3.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/KSCWA62RC.pdf you have on page number 5 beautifully described how to combine and you will learn what is five ;)

If so, how do you interpret this diagram?

If I want to connect the subwoofer without controlling it, if I don't think so, the manual shows that you only need to pull the RCA cables from the radio. What about the power then?

This clipping you posted shows only the connection of the signal.
Go back to the previous post and read until you understand why the amplifier needs power :)

Of course, it must have power. However, because of the nonsense read on other forums, I had a drop of hope that I could power and send the signal with the RCA cable alone. Another question - can I connect two pins (in the place shown in the diagram) instead of the 10-pin cable, which are responsible for the power supply (+12V and ground)? And just leave the rest of the pins alone?
    I'm talking about this scheme:

You can use wires, just remember that it must be 3 wires. In addition to the battery / power supply, you must specify the triggering (control) of the amplifier.
So white and blue for the amplifier control output (Power Control) in the CDX-L280 socket and there you also have white and blue marked as AMP REM.

Thank you very much. At least now I know what this white-blue wire is for :D . The last question - connect these three wires to the top or bottom in this pin? Because from this diagram I can't read how it should be ... In the figure below you should understand what I mean.

You need to find the schematic / Service Manual and there you will see the description of the pins

I connected as you said. The bass was out of rhythm at all as the music got louder. When the music is playing softly, the bass can match the rhythm. What is this effect?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting the Kenwood KSC-WA62RC subwoofer to a Sony CDX-L280 car radio. The user seeks guidance on the necessary connections, particularly regarding the power supply and RCA cables. It is clarified that the subwoofer's built-in amplifier requires a power source from the car battery in addition to the RCA signal from the radio. The importance of connecting the amplifier control wire (white and blue) from the radio to the subwoofer is emphasized. The user also inquires about the correct pin connections for power supply, and issues with bass rhythm at higher volumes are mentioned, indicating potential setup problems.
