    Hello,

Error E23 appeared on my Bosch WLM 24440PL washing machine. From what I have read, this is the resistance of the drain pump. It was the second time in two weeks. The first time after cleaning the drain pump and the filter in the water inlet hose, the error disappeared and the washing machine started to operate normally. After a dozen or so washes, the error reappeared. I can't delete it and I don't know what to do, is it time to call the service? I have never had any problems with the washing machine, it was used very often. I am asking for help, what should I do in this situation.

After some thought, maybe the drain pump should be replaced? What do you say? The cost of the new pump is about PLN 450 and I do not know if it is a good solution.

    Welcome back,

I looked inside the washing machine and checked all the connections appeared. The drain pump works fine, all hoses are well connected and not obstructed. I also disassembled the programmer. After reassembling, error E23 disappeared and after running the short pump down program twice, it did not reappear. I haven't done a long wash yet, because I have concerns about what to do when it reappears. In my opinion, everything is fine inside the washing machine. Maybe it's something with electronics? Perhaps one of you could suggest how to enter the service mode of this washing machine model in order to clear this error, because I do not know what to do.

    Hello.
Well, what about you, before you expose yourself to such costs, check if there is any leakage at the bottom of the washing machine?

After disassembling the washing machine, I actually noticed water at the bottom of the washing machine, but I am not sure where it could have ended up there. Could you please make me aware of what could be causing this? After the water was removed, the washing machine ran its entire standard cycle smoothly.

but I don't really know where she got there from.

Pull the top of the washing machine down and locate where the drain hose comes out of the washing machine. You will also find a fairly short black hose there, check if it has fallen from the tank.

I've checked it before. Wężyk is ok. Maybe someone knows how to delete such an error?

Thanks for helping me delete errors. After removing the water from the bottom of the washing machine and several washes, the error did not appear. When it appears again, I will try to delete it in the given way. I'll let you know about the effects.

    Hello.
The leak is what caused the error and this is what your focus should be on removing the leak, not waiting for it to reappear and then clearing it.
You may be surprised someday when you have something flooded, "smoked", and for example a different error code, but then it may be too late to save the equipment.

I checked what I knew and I don't know what could be causing the leak, and I am aware that it could repeat itself. Maybe you could advise what to check in such situations. I am not an expert in this field.

In the same Bosch WLM 2440PL washing machine, I have a problem with heating the water.
The washing machine does not heat up, but also shows no error.
I tried to start the service mode based on a hint in another thread from the Russian site:
    http://www.elremont.ru/stirm/st_eng/steng_rem108.php#pol5
However, a dozen or so attempts were unsuccessful:

" Knob on the sixth, start / stop will start blinking, finger on the centrifuge, hold and wait until the start / stop starts to flash again, still holding the centrifuge key - knob on the seventh. Don't be discouraged! Sometimes it doesn't come in the first time :) "

Maybe I need to use other methods for my washing machine to enter service mode and run tests?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    - so you need to find out why; first, the heater to be checked.

    - this is not a service mode.

I thought it was possible to check the heating system as stated on the Russian website ..... The thermistor, for example, may be damaged.
Should the heater failure not display an error?
So you need to remove the front panel and check if there is a transition to the heater?

Just in this model, the heater is mounted from the back.

What is your colleague so insistent on this test?
After all, he diagnosed himself that he does not heat the water, what can this test contribute more to?
Miracles only in one of the cellular networks.
It will be faster to pick up the meter in your hand.

I solved the leak problem. Water was coming out of the top of the powder container, so I sealed it with Teflon and it's ok. Water was dripping on the sensor in the bottom of the washing machine and hence the error E23 appeared. Thank you to everyone for your advice.

In my case, during the spinning process, the black rubber tube connecting the top of the drum (its casing) with the tee on the corrugated hose, used to empty the washing machine from water, slipped off. The connection point is on the right rear top of the washing machine. After unscrewing the top table, the place of the fault is clearly visible. I put on a cybant and it's ready.

    Hi
I have a similar problem, and the Bosch WAQ283SGB washing machine crashes the E23 flooding error all the time (deleting errors does not give anything). Unfortunately, this washing machine does not have such a sensor. No visible heat on the control board and the programmer.

The heater is checked and good, and the water pump works all the time right after turning on the washing machine. From what it seems to me, the reason you have to look for in the programmer (the plate at the bottom of the washing machine in this model is probably only for motor control, but I'm not sure, so please confirm if I'm right). The motor control module under the washing machine has only 5 plugs and only one is missing originally.
    1) Main or power supply
    2) D-bus will go to the programmers
    3) the pressure sensor is missing this and I don't think it should be a flood sensor
    4) Acceleration sensor for motor rotation sensor sure
    5) Motor or motor power supply
So far, all the stars in the sky are showing a damaged programmer
Unfortunately, in the programmer, there is no description of the plugs, unfortunately, and there are no 5 connected ones

Thanks, but the first thing I did was
After the correct cycle according to the reset tip, I noticed that all the lights start to glow until I turn off the washing machine
But unfortunately the error still remains
I have tried this method 200 times already
I have already ordered a control board over the programmer (the programmer has 2 boards (almost the programmer display with 2 plugs and the other part is its entire controller and the lock / water valves are connected to it and all the rest)

The problem in my case was the two black water supply lines on the powder container that were calcified. One was overgrown with stone. I sanded with a wire, decalcified the nozzles inside the container and thus reduced the pressure inside, and the water does not look for a weak point in the powder container.

Topic summary

The Bosch WLM 24440PL washing machine user encountered error E23, indicating a potential issue with the drain pump resistance. After cleaning the drain pump and inlet filter, the error temporarily resolved but reappeared after several washes. Users suggested checking for leaks, which were later found at the bottom of the machine, likely caused by water escaping from the powder container. After sealing the leak, the error did not reoccur. Additional discussions included troubleshooting tips for similar issues, such as checking hoses and connections, and entering service mode for diagnostics. Some users also shared experiences with other Bosch models facing different issues, emphasizing the importance of addressing leaks to prevent further errors.
