I become from friends Philips 40PFL5507K, with power supply unit from DPS-119AP.
The problem when I plug it in the wall socket, the backlight comes just for a second, to show the sand clock, then backlight turns OFF. When I use a lamp in a dark room, the LCD works, can see the Philips and menu also. Sound okay too, response on RC also can go standby as normal and turn it on will show same defect just backlight turns on for a second.. when I use a lamp in a dark room. Everything fine with it, just the power supply turns off the backlight.
Anyone had idea which part need to replace at this power supply,
