    What kind of recorder do you have? some are p2p capable, in which case it will work without a public address.
    Check in the recorder menu whether there are any p2p settings.

    Personally, I work mainly on BCS and p2p works without problems, I have clients where the only available connection is GSM and there are no problems with it.

    I also installed cheap no-name recorders, I also saw p2p options in them, but I did not have the opportunity to test.
