Recording Video & Audio on Samsung UE40J6400 Smart TV - App for Saving to USB Flash Drive

Hello. If I have a Smart TV (Samsung UE40J6400 model), it is possible to somehow record video with sound without any recorder. For example, some application on Smart TV. And that it should be saved on a USB flash drive connected to the TV. Can you do that?

I knew it couldn't be that simple. The pendrive is connected to the TV and it is visible, but when I press the REC button on the remote control (it's probably this one), the message "Unavailable" appears at the bottom of the screen

The TV does not record the signal from HDMI, and this is how you have CP connected. It only records from the RF socket, or something played from the Smart application. CP decoders can record to their external / internal HDDs.

And did you put the pen in a good USB socket?
Not every USB has the ability to record, look in the manual where you have the USB HDD socket.

It is clearly written. On the TV remote, click record, so try to switch CP channels with the TV remote. Recording to HDD or USB flash drive is possible in cable with CI card or from digital terrestrial, generally you can record channels that are programmed directly on TV. If you want to record with CP, connect the HDD to the decoder and then click "rec" on the Polish remote control.
