Good afternoon,
I am getting closer to receiving my own M, and for this reason I am preparing to make a few modifications. One of them will be raspberry pi controlled interior roller shutters of 4.
The first and probably main problem is the concept. I have found a lot of al'a DIY interior roller shutter drive systems. Unfortunately the ones that are discussed thoroughly do not satisfy me aesthetically. I am considering a solution; let's call it "semi-industrial". Perhaps my question will be of the "medium-smart" variety, but I ask those more experienced for a brief comment:)
Well, will a motor e.g. this that will fit a regular roller shutter e.g. that ?
If not, is there any quite affordable low-budget (£200-300 for a normal single-hung window) off-the-shelf for self-assembly and integration with external controllers?
The only thing I've found of off-the-shelf solutions are from 500-600£.... for one mechanism for one window
