Such a strange symptom in the LG G3 - the display slowly and gradually goes out, but not completely, i.e. it will not go out completely. The image remains gray, not black as when the screen goes blank. The touch doesn't work at this point. The display can only be reactivated using the button on the rear. When the screen goes blank (not completely) and I call the number of the SIM card in this phone, because the phone is ringing normally, there is also a signal at the calling person. However, the display will not turn on automatically. The phone is already under warranty (it is about 3 years old). So far, everything was fine, I didn't touch the software. What could be the reason for this behavior and what repair costs do I have to consider? Do you recommend a good and fast service where they will fix it?

First, save your data and do a factory reset. If this does not help, you do not know it, go to the service center, diagnose the defect and evaluate it.

I will try to perform a factory data reset. If it doesn't work, do you have any suspicions as to the cause? I can see that you can buy new ones on Ali for USD 100 or around PLN 360. I don't know how much the repair could cost. Sometimes after it goes out, it seems like it wants to light up again, but it can't - such flickering.

I post a video of what it looks like.
