Hello, today the TV just turned off while watching the news. The image disappeared and the sound remained. And so it is until now - the sound continues, the image is gone. I tried to disconnect, connect, I changed decoders and nothing of it. What could be causing this crash? The TV is a Philips 32PFL3008H / 12 and is no longer under warranty.

The backlight of the screen does not work. There can be many reasons, eg one of the transformers in the inverter, electrolytic capacitors, damaged fluorescent lamp, short circuit / damaged semiconductor, bad soldering, especially of heating elements, the ends of transistors / diodes can be desoldered, etc. Nobody will give a ready solution.

Nothing is displayed after pressing the menu key. But after some time in a row with the "power" button, you can see slightly skipping dark gray rectangles when you turn on the TV for about 2 seconds.

This means that there is no matrix illumination. You have to give the TV to the site.
