    Gentlemen
    I want to install an air conditioner on a 3.5kw wall - about 35m2 room
    And I want it to be fired by the Fibaro system
    Hence the question
    Which air conditioner is compatible with this system?
    Does it have to have wifi control option?

    I found something like this;

    3.1.18. Do not post links that become inactive after a certain period of time. This will cause the discussion to lose any meaning.

    Hello
    I will comment on Toshiba because I have not been in contact with other manufacturers, but with others it is probably similar.
    Toshiba RAS series has such a function as switching on and off with a voltage-free contact. For the indoor unit you would have to buy a suitable board with a plug. It is called TCB-IFCB5-PE. This board supports two modes: window mode and on/off mode.
    If you are interested I can give you on PW the contact to the guy from toshiba who will explain you what and how.

    ok for the time being I am focusing on this Hyundai as it fits my wall dimensions
    I think I will let go of the fibaro control and focus on the wifi function offered by this device

    My A/C does not have post-IP integration, so I simply solder to the on/off microstick of the A/C control panel and control (turn on/off) the A/C from the fibaro with a regular switch. I take the information about whether it is cooling or not from the temperature sensor at the cold air outlet. Maybe not a very sophisticated engineering solution, but it works and it is cheap to integrate in terms of additional electronics with the RS232 port, which the manufacturer recommends for integration :)
