I connected the PAN08 roller shutter controller according to the diagram. The controller was detected correctly, however an attempt at a calibration pass failed, the roller shutter first drove up, then drove down again and refused to perform the third calibration phase, i.e. drive up again.
After calibration, the roller shutter controller, despite being visible in the Z-wave system, did not work (the roller shutter could not be controlled). On the controller a red LED was illuminated at a frequency of every 1 second, i.e. according to the operating instructions the following error:
S1 or S2 are pressed in Two Push Button switch type, PAN08 would not accept RF command.
After disconnecting the S1 and S2 cable protruding from the controller from the terminal list, suddenly everything started. The calibration was successful and it was possible to lower and raise the roller shutter using a web browser and a smartphone. Unfortunately, still the manual control did not work
- because it had been disconnected a moment ago. As soon as the buttons from the manual control were reconnected, the previous effect appeared (i.e. a flashing red LED every 1 second and no response from the controller to commands.
I have the following buttons/switch to control the roller shutter (I bought and tested both and there is the same effect on both):

The manual says that by default the controller is set so that the external switch is one push button. To set the two push button I made the following change in the configuration (see picture)
Unfortunately this operation did not help. Same effects as before (calibration also did not pass).
Do you have any more ideas what could have gone wrong and how to activate the manual control for the roller shutter.
In addition, I noticed that when I did not disconnect the cables named S1 and S2 from the terminal block, but dismantled the button in the wall (there were three cables coming out of the wall which were not connected to anything), the same effect occurred as before, i.e. the LED was on every 1 second and the roller shutter controller stopped responding.
I checked the above situation on two roller shutter controllers and two roller shutters. The same problem occurred everywhere.
Of course, the switch and the button work when the roller shutter controller is disconnected from the system
