I have a Risco proSys 16 control panel - I would like to be able to record the history of all detector signals and alarms.

    Question:
Is it possible to read such signals directly from the control panel by connecting with some cable ?

I have such a solution in mind - please evaluate whether this makes sense ?
I have this clue :Risco/ProSys 16 - control panel event history on SD card - how ?

there are 16 leds on it, each lighting up and going off with the signal on the detector.
There are also leds with signals from the control panel - alarm, tamper etc....

i was thinking of connecting to these LEDs from the keypad and reading the voltages onto the SD card (e.g. via arduino ) - this way I could have a full history of events on the site.

But maybe there are simpler/better ways :)

    PS:
don't just write why I need this event history or replace the control panel with another one because I already know such options.

The control panel saves the last 256 events. You can read them out using the U/D program. The programme is free to download from the distributor's website but you need to buy an interface - RP 128 EUSB.

Thank you for the reply, I am closing the topic - the proposed solution is ok only the price of this cable is a bit discouraging.
