You accuse your colleague that he says "piss off", while your first post is so chaotic that no questions arise from it. It sounds more like you are going to write a paper on the subject "Computer Techniques" or similar.
Going back to the topic you lightened up a bit with the second question, you're going to have a rather problem. If you want to build a computer from scratch, you build a PC for a reason. When it comes to a laptop, no one produces standard cases, for which you will have a choice of several motherboards and the rest of the peripherals. There are companies that assemble their products, where you can choose the configuration (processor, graphics card, amount of RAM, disks, matrix, etc.). But it will be a ready-made (and not cheap) product that you will receive in your hand. If you want to choose a motherboard, processor, graphics and other parts, buy it yourself and assemble it, it will be difficult for you to achieve it (precisely due to the lack of any standards when it comes to hardware dimensions).

You get it wrong. The matrix and the housing are separate parts and the housing can be fitted with different screens (different resolutions, types of matrices) - of course, the size must match. As you can expect, the hinged wing itself will most often fit one fuselage model (or some series with an identical or similar housing, but this is limited to one manufacturer and similar models).
