    Good morning

I am planning to buy a new washing machine. A few years ago I was working on this topic. The choice then fell on Bosch, recommended on the forum made in Germany. The washing machine works until today. For now (knock on) there are no problems with it.

What series and models are made in Germany? Which have a removable drum and replaceable bearings? If someone had a list, I would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Germany Bosch, some model, for example, WAW, but all of them cannot be dismantled.
And the WAE Polska model is all whitened.
And the new WAN model, I do not know, but I think the news is that it can be dismantled.

    The new Bosch ...
    Series 6 WAT24340PL 8kg, Steel drum + Plastic threshold, 1200 rpm
    Series 6 WLT24460PL 6.5 kg Steel drum + Plastic threshold, 1200 rpm
    Series 6 WLK24240PL 6kg, Steel drum + Plastic threshold, 1200 rpm
    Series 4 WAN24240PL 7kg, Steel Drum + Steel Threshold, 1200rpm
    Series 4 WAN2426KPL 7kg, Steel Drum + Steel Threshold, 1200rpm
Series 4 WAN20140PL 7kg, Steel Drum + Steel Threshold, 1000rpm and no Prewash.

Thank you. From what I can see, there aren't many products made in Germany anymore.

I need a washing machine with a load capacity of 5-6 kg. And do you know what the same issue looks like in the Electrolux or AEG brand?

I join the thread for information - as part of "preparations" for the purchase of a BOSCH washing machine from the SLIM line (load from the front, with a shallower depth - up to 45 cm), I sent an e-mail inquiry to BSH Hardware Gospodarstwa Domowego Sp. z o. o. on the two series that interest me (WLT and WLK). Here is a quote from the responses dated 02/14/2017 of the Senior Product Specialist:

"(...) both series: WLT ... and WLK ... are produced in Russia and have a washing unit that can be dismantled. . (...) "

If you believe her, and there is no reason not to :) so I update information about these two series:

    * WLT - Russia, demountable drum
    * WLK - Russia, demountable drum

    Regards - Roger

    Hello!

I know that I reheat the topic a bit, but I have a WLT24460PL washing machine and from what it says, it's made in Spain.
The washing machine was bought in April 2017. Until now, the washing machine works flawlessly. And this silence .... :D

Dismountable drum = the possibility of replacing the bearings.

In Bosch washing machines, to find out whether a given model has a bolted / disassembled or glued drum, it is best to go to the diagram of a given copy on the Bosch company website to choose spare parts for it:

    Bosch - Find spare parts

For example. If the diagram for the WAW24740PL / 12 specimen does not show the front and rear parts of the drum container and the bearings separately, it means that the drum container is non-dismantled, glued:
    Bosch - WAW24740PL / 12

If the diagram for WAN2826EPL / 24 shows the front and rear parts of the drum reservoir separately, but the bearings are not listed, the drum reservoir is dismountable, bolted, but the bearings are INTEGRATED with the rear drum reservoir and cannot be replaced (must be purchased the entire rear part of the tank in case the bearings need to be replaced)
    Bosch - WAN2826EPL / 24

If the diagram for WAE24240PL / B3 shows the front and rear parts of the drum reservoir and the bearings separately, it means that there will be no problem with replacing the bearings:
    Bosch WAE24240PL.B3

The current Bosch series with bolted tanks and NON-integrated bearings are: normal WAE and slim WLG version
Bosch series with bolted tanks but INTEGRATED bearings with the rear of the drum tank are: WAN and slim versions WLT and WLK
Bosch series with glued drum tank are other series: WAT, WAW, WAY, WAB, WIW, slim versions do NOT have glued tanks

Hello ! I know that the topic is almost closed, but I have a question related to the Bosch washing machine model. In the coming weeks I have to buy a bigger Bosch washing machine, currently I have 6 kg, but I have to buy 9 kg. I am considering two Bosch models: WAW 24540PL Serie 8 VarioPerfect and WAT 2466EPL Serie 6. Could someone please explain to me what the initial letters mean and which model to choose. Thank you in advance and best regards.

How does this relate to washer dryers?
I am thinking of the Bosch Serie 6 WDU28540EU

There are no such markings there?

A little update. Bearings in Bosch WAN washing machines are fully interchangeable. They are not sunk in the back vat, and simply in the world they can be broken and replaced.
