    Hi,

i have installed LED lighting in two children's rooms, each with a separate RF controller and its own remote control. I don't want to do any advertising, so it's probably enough to write that it's about 2 sets with RF-1CH-11K-001. The trouble is, however, that the remote control from one room also controls the light in the other, which is not what I wanted.
So the question is - how can this be solved? Probably the controllers are 1-channel, so it probably won't work without changing the components, but...

    Greetings

There are controllers with multi-channel remote control. This is the only way to solve the problem.

    Hello,
it is possible that this system supports one and only one channel.

Either the designer was a complete idiot or it was all about some kind of cost optimisation on the assumption that no two systems would be close enough to affect each other.

However, it is possible that the device has some intelligence.
Maybe you need to get in touch with the vendor and ask if you can force the controller and remote to be paired on a different channel.
Alternatively, gently disassemble the controller and remote control, maybe there are some easily accessible 'configuration' elements (solder fields, switches, etc.) with which you can select, for example, a different radio channel, a unique device address, etc.

    Greetings.

    Welcome,

    thanks for the (p)replies.

All indications are that it's a 1-channel kit....
The seller suggests swapping to an IR-d module, which confirms the above. Fortunately it doesn't cost much (about £13), so that's probably how it will end up.
