I used my LG TV at home, the usual antenna was connected and the set-top box built into the TV downloaded these basic 20 channels, I moved to a larger city, I took the antenna and TV with me, I connected. "No CI module" pops up, can anyone tell what's going on? Maybe it's some trivial reason, and I don't know anything about it.

I understand that you are trying to receive DVB-T (terrestrial TV). One of the multiplexes is coded, probably it was not available in the first location and now it is and the TV is asking for a decoding module. You can probably specify in the menu that the TV should ignore scrambled channels.

Probably mux4 (Cyfrowy Polsat) - you will not buy a module for this, because their CP does not offer this service.
And on TV, remove the channels and set the search only for uncoded, or manually enter the parameters.

It is very possible that you are right but I have been playing with it for a long time and I have no idea how to do it

Hello. Let me also speak about solving your problem. What is mentioned earlier, i.e. the reception of the MUX-4, which requires the CI + module, is one of the reasons for the appearance of the message. The second reason may be that a DVB-C search may have been started in the menu to search for terrestrial TV channels. Please check carefully which tuner has been selected. For terrestrial DVB-T is required and this must be set. Good luck.

Yes, my neighborhood is channel 46 on the 674 MHz frequency, but in my manual setup there is only a signal on 38 and there are 10 radio 15 tv's, but of course all encoded. I have a peaceful antenna, but it should catch something

And here may be a problem - the need for an external antenna.
Your transmitter is Białystok Krynice - I don't know how far from you - but if it's 10-20 km, with its power I don't see any chances for a room antenna to work.

I'm renting this room in the house, it's not connected to me, so I won't drill for them here :) Close topic, thank you

Topic summary

The user is experiencing a "No CI module" error on their LG TV after relocating to a larger city. This issue likely arises from the reception of DVB-T channels, specifically due to the presence of coded multiplexes that were not available in the previous location. Solutions suggested include adjusting the TV settings to ignore scrambled channels, resetting the TV to factory settings, and manually programming the multiplexes. Additionally, the need for an external antenna is highlighted, as the current indoor antenna may not suffice for receiving signals from a distant transmitter.
