    Hello

For several days I have been trying to change the access code to the apartment because it is used by outsiders (friends of the previous owner).

Intercom CDN - change of the tenant's code6615.jpg Download (66.54 kB)

I am following the instructions (page 21)

"To enter the control panel programming function with the installer code 2222, press the" key "and then the digits 1507 (constant value) and 2222."

    2222- another installer code

but there are only 4 places on the intercom and I can't enter anything.

I try the second way, but also to no effect.
When I ask the municipality to provide the number to the installer for him to do it, they refuse without giving a reason.

I am asking for a hint on how to change it?

if the installer code has been changed and his colleague does not know it, it is a problem.
The manufacturer itself, the ACO company, writes (excerpt from the manual):
Intercom CDN - change of the tenant's code
Therefore, I suggest you call or write an e-mail to them (http://www.aco.com.pl/) on this matter, the more that

I will write as you say, but one thing puzzles me.

After pressing the "key" and trying to enter the code, I only have 4 fields out of 8 (1507 ....)

When he enters the alleged code (according to the neighbor 1234), nothing appears, and in my opinion it should be that he enters it, but an error / message about the wrong code appears.

I press the "key" and it pops up 4 "_ _ _ _" in which you can not type anything (nothing appears)

Since after entering the key 1507 1234 nothing happens, i.e. the installer code is different than 1234.
You (as a resident) should rather not have access to this code, because then you can change all the parameters of the exchange (as well as other tenants!).
The code can be changed in the following way:
After selecting the apartment number, confirming it with the "key" button and selecting the old opening code, you should press the "key" button during the first 2 seconds of opening (the word "Open Code" will appear ;) . After that, twice (in order to avoid mistakes) we enter consecutively four digits of the new opening code. When the same code is entered twice, the word "Done" will be displayed and it will be entered into memory. When the entered codes differ, the control panel will display the "Error" message and will quit the function without changing the code. When programming a new code, we can always exit programming (without changes) by pressing the "#" button.

This method works only when the installer unlocks this option (disabled by default) P16 bit 7 -> 1. Otherwise, the code can only be changed by the installer.

Today I found out with the help of the administrator that the commune did not have contact with the installer who connected the intercom, hence the refusal and a problem arose.

Ircys from what I read the installer enables / disables various bits:

Bit7.- Enabling the possibility of changing the opening code by
    user

Bit8.- Disable reset by buttons at startup

If the installer has blocked these possibilities and I do not know his code, all I can do is contact the manufacturer.

How are these bits set or blocked? Via the computer (cable), is it possible to use the keyboard if the reset could be successfully performed?

I cannot find a description of how to program specific uniphones after the reset, when the factory settings are restored?

I still have to look under the housing, what is the code table number, but are the tables constant and can it help?

This is bad, especially if the installer has disabled the reset function (P16 bit 8).
In this case, only the manufacturer will help after sending the control panel to his service.

You can use a computer (via a dedicated cable) or from the keypad, but in both cases the installer password is required if the control panel cannot be reset.

Uniphones do not need to be programmed anew. They are physically programmed with jumpers.

The code table does not matter when entering the programming mode.

If it is what you say, i.e. the installer password is unknown, and you want to do something with this control panel, it is best to call a local company that specializes in this and then it should deal with the problem.

Quite unbelievable. Could some company do it for free and not even issue an invoice?
Try to change the code in accordance with Ircys' instructions and if it fails, request such a service from the manager.
In my opinion, it is unacceptable that any tenant should mess with the software.

I think that this information is enough and we stop there.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the difficulty of changing the access code for an intercom system due to the unavailability of the installer code. The user is unable to enter the programming mode as the control panel only displays four fields instead of the expected eight. Responses suggest that if the installer code has been changed and is unknown, the user may need to contact the manufacturer, ACO, for assistance. It is noted that the installer may have disabled certain functions, preventing the user from changing the code. Alternative methods for code change are discussed, but they require access to the installer code or the intervention of a professional service. The conversation highlights the challenges faced by residents when dealing with intercom systems and the importance of having access to the correct codes.
