Hello, I have a problem in Laguna II ph II with rear window heating. The straps are checked (the transition is), the relay, the place where the cables pass to the tailgate from the trunk. It is interesting to me and a bit incomprehensible that if both plugs are connected in the windshield (left plus, right ground), the windshield does not heat, there is no voltage, but if the mass cable is disconnected, the windscreen does not heat, but the tension appears - 12v, where to look for a solution and what else to check for the glass to heat up

I would think about changing the glass.

Installation of glued rear glass from 80 to 120 PLN

Changing the glass? there is a transition between the stripes if the transition was not there.

    Still, it doesn't heat.

Yes, only after connecting the ground (on the right) the voltage disappears from 12 it turns 0V and the short circuits are not because the fuses do not fly.

    I know.
What do you think about it?
    that Nissan,
in the rear window heat all the strips except two at the top and one at the bottom?
    Where is the problem?
    In the glass.

It can be similar with you, but they don't all heat :)

Look for the burned contact in the ankle in the trunk or on the module itself.

It's a flap with the glass man :)
Rather, nothing will be found in the trunk.

kaczor2502 You can have fun and remove the plastic from the flap.
Maybe you'll find something. Look at the wires, clean the contacts with a screwdriver and try.
But I think the problem lies in the window.

Look for the white ankle on the left belly (on the rear left fender). There, the contact often burns (thick wire, probably white).

We check the 12V high-current circuits with the indicator. Search as a friend advises

Old topic, nevertheless for descendant colleagues above are right, if there is a transition on the stripes, the reason in LII lies in the connectors located in the trunk more precisely on the back on the left (remove the plastic fastening of the shelf on the left and tilt upholstery). Burns either contact in the ankle itself or a wire (thick white) going to the glass.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a heating failure in the rear window of a Renault Laguna II Phase II. The user has verified the functionality of the heating straps, relay, and cable connections to the tailgate but still experiences a lack of voltage when both plugs are connected to the windshield. Suggestions from other users include checking for burned contacts in the trunk connectors, particularly a thick white wire, and inspecting the glass itself for issues. The consensus indicates that if the transition between the heating stripes is intact, the problem likely lies in the connectors or the glass rather than the relay or wiring in the trunk.
