Hello. I have a problem namely ESP / ASR DEFEKT is displayed. Megan II 1.6 + LPG I would like to add that I have the easiest OBD computer for diagnostics. Once I had this way and it turned out that the coil was on the first cylinder (the one on the side of the clutch / box) and the car jerked and it was impossible to drive normally. After the exchange, the message disappeared and everything returned to normal. After one week, the message returned and shows the ignition failure on the 4th cylinder. After changing to another without change. I checked on 2 side and all the time the loss 4 shows. The car rides, accelerates and enters the turnover just as you need only the esp / asp and servis control. The only difference is that the gas has a slightly lower speed and does not work as smoothly as on petrol at idle. I do not know whether it is the fault of coils, wires or maybe the driver because I read that too. Any ideas, tips? greetings

And two are replace the candles for lpg because the used candles and gas-drifting coils are falling. Check before the candles are installed, the break can not be more than 0.8

Hello, I have done a pressure measurement and there are more than 12 on each one. Tomorrow, I have to drive to the gasifier or it is not a gas fault.

Hello I put in a new injection molding and the new mapping engine goes beautifully on the gas but the error still shines.

And the abs works well? Maybe there is a problem with the sensors?

Hello. I checked abs today and the car brakes as if he did not have it. The wheels are skidding. Does anyone know if you can check the abs scales?

The abs / asr system is shining on the board, the abs system does not work. Unfortunately, just as stupid as in the citroen c5, the abs / asr control lights up the service. To be sure, connect the tester and go to Abs, see if there are any errors. The sensors can be checked with the meter by measuring the resistance on the plug from the sensor, all 4 abs sensors need to be close to each other, the good sensor is about 1.1-1.4 kOma

This is normal and how do you imagine the torque control at ESP without communication with the engine?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Renault Megane II 1.6 LPG experiencing an ESP/ASR defect and ignition failure on the fourth cylinder. The user initially resolved a similar issue by replacing a faulty coil but encountered a recurrence of the error after a week. Suggestions from other users included checking the spark plugs, coil wiring to the ECU, and compression levels. The user confirmed that the spark plugs were new and later replaced the injection molding, which improved engine performance on gas but did not eliminate the error. Further investigation revealed that the ABS system was malfunctioning, leading to the ESP/ASR error. Ultimately, the problem was traced to a cut wire in the ABS sensor, which was repaired, resolving the issue.
