    Welcome.

Moj megane II 1.6 16v 82kw one day he displayed a message on a computer in German to check the injection. After that the message esp asr defwkt. The car started jerking and the revs dropped to about 800 - 700. I went to the mechanic, after connecting to the computer, the error "cylinder 1 return to ground" was read, the mechanic suggested replacing the coil and replacing the candles, I did it. The car behaves better, however, the computer still showed an error despite its deletion after replacing the coil. The car is equipped with LPG, the revs drop very much and you can hear uneven engine work, it is ok when using gasoline, but the error is displayed on both.

After visiting Gazownik, he said replacement of the injection rail PLN 450, ok we replace,
They exchanged zero improvement. They said, please check the compressions, Ok I went to the mechanic, he checked the compression is 12-13. I asked the mechanic to change the injectors in places, changed them and from June to December it was ok. The problem disappeared

In December, the car slowed down to the intersection, the check was displayed and the injection was checked, There is an error when cornering or braking, after connecting to the computer "short circuit to ground cylinder 1 - discontinuous. What to do? I was also on gas regulation a few days ago, the car is faster, but the error occurs.

Someone has already taken this message literally and checked the wires for a short circuit or a break in the injector circuit?

Unfortunately no, I have already been to 4 "experts", they delete the error, they overeat and inform the error is gone.

One mechanic could not even locate the cylinder number (I told him that 1 is for the transmission, while he did it for the timing)

Then go to a decent electrician, or look for yourself, because they'll knock you out again.
Swap injections and the same cylinder 1 error indicate that the cause may be in the wiring of the engine / this cylinder.
Discontinuity, i.e. a temporary error that sometimes occurs.
1 is usually counted from the timing.
What is the full error code, and was it read from a Reno dedicated device? Universal ones can show incomplete information, or quite stupid, and to be seriously advised, know this code.

https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ see how much it is, e.g. click and expand P0200 ...
Then you could, while reading about the same fault code, check something yourself as best you can.
In general, find someone who not only clears the errors, but also the causes of their occurrence.

Lpg disconnects the gasoline injectors while working on gas, it cannot always connect them back, and there may also be an injector error. Only injector for sure? During the injection of the injectors, the mechanic could move the engine beam and temporarily corrected something else.

I do not currently have the exact P code saved ...

At Renault they say cylinder 1 is from the gearbox? So how do we finally count from the timing or the flywheel?

The subject was Clip, I don't know exactly.

I want to look at the injectors.

It shows me that 1 injector, in addition to the brown one, has a white wire, 4 a purple one, and 1 coil has purple and gray.
This would be easy to check by removing the coil or injector plug.
The LPG sequence will also indicate which one, because its injectors must be connected in the order of petrol injections.

And they say it well. Do a proper diagnosis and provide the error number

Unfortunately, I have not been on the computer yet, I do not have so busy days, today I drove and yesterday megane - from what I could notice, the error "check injection" appears on sharp turns, 90 degrees, no matter what speed I'm driving, when there is a slight tilt of the car, if there are even 3-4 turns in a row, such an error appears on the car's computer (there is no effect of such display, the car drives the same), what to start searching?

From the beam, as everyone says, from injection to the controller

The time has come that I reviewed the installations, It turned out that the hose from cylinder 1 was rubbed against the bolt next to the engine, it was exactly hanging on it, rubbing and thus touching the mass while driving, most in the turns, Wire insulated, problem fixed :) :) :)

4 mechanics only deleted and deleted none of them checked the cause of the fault :)

Thank you very much for your help! :)

    Subject to be closed :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Renault Megane II 1.6 16V experiencing a "cylinder 1 short to ground" error after displaying an injection check message. The owner replaced the ignition coil and spark plugs, but the error persisted. Various mechanics were consulted, with suggestions including checking wiring and replacing the LPG injection rail, which did not resolve the issue. The owner noted that the error appeared during sharp turns, leading to a diagnosis that revealed a wire from cylinder 1 was rubbing against a bolt, causing intermittent grounding issues. After insulating the wire, the problem was resolved.
