    Hello ;)
I wanted to buy a mini table saw to be able to precisely cut square timber up to 2-3 cm and various wooden boards up to 1.8 cm thick (furniture).
I already have a larger saw - Dedra DED7754 - 1600W, which can handle furniture and squared timber even 5-6 cm,
however, for small, delicate cuts it is too imprecise and rough in use.
    Once, I saw a PROXXON saw - KS 230 ~ 500 PLN.
According to the manufacturer, it ensures precise cutting, but up to a maximum of 8mm.
But somewhere on the forum I read that it can handle even 1.5 cm thick, but you have to do it slowly so as not to burn the engine (85W).
Could someone familiar with the topic advise if Proxxon can do it or suggest a replacement for a price up to PLN 500?
Regards and thank you for your help

even slow movements overload the motor.
I have a TopCraft TMW-160F grinder which, despite the engine power above 100W and the speed between 15,000 and 30,000 rpm, slows down with slightly stronger pressing and also heats up quickly at idle speed.
I am writing about it only in the form of a comparison (I know that these are different motors) - a grinder and saw for modelers and similar DIY enthusiasts.
However, if more work is to be done with thicker material, I suggest a chainsaw with a more powerful motor.
So for information, here is a comparison of the Proxxon KS230 model saws (85W motor) with the FKS / E (200W motor). The difference is clear in favor of a more powerful engine.
The fact that cuts are less precise http://www.modelarstwo.org.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11156

That's how I read the topic and I would love to buy a Proxxon FKS / E but it costs over PLN 1,800 and the Proxxon KS-230 - PLN 500 :)
As I wrote earlier, I have a Dedra DED7754 - 1600W saw (it cost 700 PLN) which with the assembled stand is huge
and is of worse performance than the FKS / E, however, the application is similar,
although it is difficult and in some cases impossible to precisely measure the elements on it, say 1.5 cm.
That's why I use it for "heavier" tasks and I miss just such a mini saw,
on which I could precisely cut elements up to 1.5-2 cm.
Well, my budget is exactly what the Proxxon KS-230 costs about - PLN 500 :)
In addition, I would like the small size of this saw - certainly smaller than I currently have - something like the KS-230.

I completely understand my colleague because the price is actually high.

    7. There is also an auction on Allegro called "900W PRECISION CIRCULAR SAW + SAW BLADES + BASS Polska HIT BAG" cost about PLN 300 with 900W power.
A big advantage in the above-mentioned mini circular saws is their power of 600-900W, the price is between PLN 250 - PLN 650, the size of the blades is about 85mm.
The downside is the lack of a table, but maybe you can buy it or make it.
