    HELLO !
My question is about the diagnostic cable KKL VAG-COM FOR 409.1

The cable after connecting to the car and computer with the VAG-COM VER311.2 program (WINXP VMWare) communicates only on the "Engine" module.

Under win7 x64bit, the VCDS-lite 1.2 program only works with the "Engine" module

What can you do with this cable to communicate with other modules?

I know that the cable supports cars manufactured until 2004
Mine is from 2006, in theory the connection should not be established. In practice it is, but very limited. Is any modification possible to connect to other modules?

The cable is intended for home use only. Expensive interface drops off.
I am asking for advice in this matter.

    Greetings to all readers !!!

You won't do anything the rest of the modules are on the wall that this cable doesn't support.

Buddy, you have to buy a cable with kkl + can.
You have most modules on a can rail.
You have the cheapest one. Best regards, gift.

I deleted the link. 3.1.18. Do not send links that will become inactive after some time. This will cause the discussion to lose any meaning.
It will work, but that's not what you expect.

Ok, if you want to make problems.
    Search for VCDS or VAS.

It is difficult to use, you can delete the contents of the meter or engine controller when you do not know what to do.
It is better to add and buy VCDS where you have a multitude of descriptions on the net.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the limitations of the KKL VAG-COM diagnostic cable (version 409.1) when used with a 2006 VW Golf Plus 1.9 TDI. The user reports that the cable only communicates with the "Engine" module using VAG-COM version 311.2 on Windows XP and VCDS-lite 1.2 on Windows 7 x64. Responses indicate that the KKL cable does not support other modules, as they are primarily on a CAN bus, and suggest purchasing a more advanced cable that includes CAN support for full functionality. Caution is advised regarding potential issues when using the cable, with recommendations to consider VCDS or VAS for better compatibility and support.
