I have a problem with the thermostatic head - the radiator heats to the max. I unscrewed the head and cleaned it of starch, etc. after unscrewing the head works "dry" or the "mushroom" that is to press or loosen the valve pin, it slides out and hides when turning the knob. However, when I tighten the head (and I see that it is in contact with the pin) it stops working at a certain thickness, i.e. turning the knob does not cause the mushroom to move.

I thought maybe it was a matter of adjusting the power on the valve with the head adjustment, so the power was to the max (as indeed all the time), and the head to 5. It did nothing. I also tried to screw the heads setting it for screwing on 1, or minumum and so try for strength, nothing too. ? I'm afraid that the heads will be replaced and it will be the same so maybe it's a problem with the valve?

It looks . Use a tool to push the pin protruding from the valve with the head removed, it should enter inside by about 5 mm. If it doesn't move, tap lightly with a hammer.

Thanks! Initially, it did not go, but after being treated with a hammer, it did. I screwed the head on again, but I have the impression that it works only to a certain extent, i.e. 3-5. Does it matter in what setting the head is when I screw it (i.e. does it have to correspond to what is on the valve - i.e. valve at max - head at 5, does it matter, since it is screwed anyway), or is it any other reason?

Tighten the head to the end and that's it.
