In the building where I live, the flats are equipped with 'residential heat exchangers', so called 'logotherms' - this has a valve like the one on the radiator so that the heating of the whole flat can be controlled - closing this valve cuts off the supply of hot heating water to the radiators and opening it causes the radiators to heat up.

A valve with a thermoelectric head is installed which is controlled by the AURATRON 2025RTH controller - I can programme the heating in it and it controls it - somehow it works.

However, I would like to make a solution available for configuration and control from the internet - I am considering a kit:
    Controller: Z-Wave Z-Stick Gen5 ZW090
Switch: TZ76 to control the thermoelectric head
    Temperature sensor: ST814

All components are z-wave, unfortunately I haven't had to deal with this technology yet. I have extensive experience with Linux, and it is on Linux that I would like to make myself this solution.

Can anyone suggest what software is best to do this with? Maybe there is a ready-made system? Or maybe I can write one myself, just how to organise communication with the devices via the controller?

Ultimately, I would like to expand the system later on - another idea is to use a TZ76 switch to control the DHW circulation pump and find an outdoor temperature sensor also with z-wave.

How about DOMOTICZ ? After all, the AURATRON 2025RTH panel only sends ON/OFF information to the actuator , this can be scanned (868Mhz) and controlled by a plugin from Domoticz.

This system caught my eye yesterday - and I think I'm going to give it a try - the question is whether it will work with the devices I listed :)

I am also considering Domoticz. Raspberry i already have :)
Wants to connect it with some arduino based nodes (Pro Mini). Communication via nrf24l01+
I just don't know if I'll be able to grasp it

Zdzicho: and how do you scan what signal it sends? Also, I have the impression that not only does it go on-off but also some control packets in addition to the normal on/off operation of the system.

Danfoss Link also works in Z-wave transmission, I have had some experience with it and can recommend it
