    Good morning,
    The car is Corsa D, 1.2 petrol, 86 HP, 2010, 90K mileage.
3 days ago, while driving to work after about 3 km Corsa (1.2 gasoline - the more powerful) suddenly lost power. At the same time, the service indicator (car + key) came on. In my opinion, the car began to work on two cylinders. I reached the nearest parking lot, turned it off and started again after 10 seconds. The light went out and it started to run flawlessly. After 1-2 km the same - repeat the operation. Later to the mechanic - about 2 km road without adventures. There, they deleted the throttle position sensor error (error P2135) from history and found that this was not the cause and they would find nothing without the error. The mechanic noted on the page left behind the glass: "Throttle position 1: 2 sensor incorrect - incredible value - not present" - whatever that means. But something about the "pedal problem" also grunted in the conversation. The damper was cleaned about 6 months ago when candles were replaced. On the way home - about 10 km - there were no problems.

Could these problems cause this sensor and replace it better, even though it is now showing no errors? Give it a ride, drive it and next time you roll into a workshop in emergency mode with the error indicator on? Unless someone has a different idea. Help.

It could, but not necessarily the sensor itself:
    - wiring harness running to the sensor (worn, broken, ...)
    - sensor plug connector (dirty, wet, corroded, ...)
    - the engine control plug connector (dirty, wet, corroded, ...)
    - ... etc.
    - sensor defective

And also not entirely ... It is possible that the throttle will be for repair / regeneration. Equally well, maybe even better, the driver, the harness and the suggestion with the accelerator pedal is not stupid, professionals know why. Return the car to the recommended workshop. This will save you unnecessary replacement costs at random.

After today's visit to the recommended workshop, which deals only with Opel, I learned that the reason could be:
    - damper dirty / frozen or simply broken (it was cleaned about 6 months ago by this workshop)
    - damper electrics (cables, plug)
    - defective motor controller (is this variant of the fault expensive?)
So the guesses coincide with those in the thread. Thanks. We'll see what's next.

It starts to be fun. Yesterday I received a car from the above mentioned specialists from Opel. Before the visit he drove anyway. He reached them on his own. After visiting their workshop, he had to be picked up by a tow truck. Permanent service indicator. No power, generally suck. From under their workshop, the car, serviced in their workshop for 3 days, drives away on a carriage. What dudes Oh, they haven't answered the phone for 2 days. But you have to admit that they wrote me the part number for the departure, which must be REALLY replaced. After 3 days of diagnosis :) They are supposedly the best specialists from Opel in Sosnowiec :)

Damaged throttle, however. I installed a drug and everything is fine. 200 PLN + 150 exchange.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2010 Opel Corsa D with a 1.2 petrol engine experiencing intermittent power loss while driving, accompanied by a service indicator light. The owner reported that the car seemed to run on two cylinders and that the issue temporarily resolved after restarting the engine. A mechanic initially cleared a throttle position sensor error (P2135) but could not identify the root cause without further errors. Subsequent suggestions included checking the wiring harness, sensor connectors, and the throttle body itself. After further diagnostics at a specialized Opel workshop, potential causes identified were a dirty or faulty throttle body, electrical issues, or a defective motor controller. Ultimately, the throttle was confirmed damaged, and replacement resolved the issue.
