    Hello!
Has anyone seen these speakers and would say something about the sound? I want to build monitors and I don't know what project to choose. I want to switch from altus 110. I listen to rock / chillout / sometimes some electronic or pop music.
I was thinking of designing with these 18 STX AWX tweeters. I have never heard these speakers, but I think it should be better than the A110 in any case.
    best regards

Anything is better than the GDWT 9/40.
Seas will be the better of the two. However, if you have listened to this GDWT so far, I think you can safely use STX. Firstly, twice cheaper, secondly, it will be time before you switch your hearing to the domes. Generally, the first thing you will hear after going from this crap is that something above 14kHz is also playing.
The only question is whether you have a good crossover design on this speaker.

As far as I know, ALX sounds very soft, so my friend, after switching from GDWT, may be slightly disappointed with the lack of a "tick"

    Maybe PCX is better?

I've heard the project with Seas and don't recommend it.

As for the ALX and the AWX project, which project do you mean?
    If this one:

... let it go, because it's not correct.

Then maybe immediately get interested in this project:

... or if you insist on 2way then this:

    Cheaper and not necessarily worse.

I do not recommend the AWX with Seas, for this price you can put together better loudspeakers, e.g. for the SBacoustic:

The monitors appeal to me more than the great 3way. The design for sbacoustic is very interesting, but making such a cabinet is a lot of fun. What do you think about these projects?

I think the monitors have enough bass to please me. In order for the bass to be heard something, I have to boost them anyway + 6dB and it does not go down low, although I have them modified a bit.

The 1st and 2nd design, looking at the characteristics, will not have much bass.
See how Troels modifies the characteristics to make the structure play bass. It has a sloping characteristic, because the flat, even characteristic in the design causes a lack of bass.

I cannot see the measurements from the 3rd project, I will not say anything.

Overall, all 3 projects should play on a level, but I personally would take something from Troels' projects. On Seas, it also has the following structures:
