Hello, I have a problem with the oil level sensor in Atego I, the problem is that the display still shows the oil level error, showing -2 at the same time and the light comes on.
After removing the measuring cup, the condition is correct, after adding 1L, no changes, after adding another liter, also without changes.
The sensor has been replaced with a new original one.
Installation from the screw connection to the controller approx.
After disconnecting the sensor from the installation, the message is not displayed.
In the engine controller, when the sensor is normally connected, the error is still active:

    MR 02026
Oil level too high or too low.
I checked the SD is sensor type 3 and bowl type 0, I just don't know if these are the right types for this car.
    VIN WDB9700571K551499

I will be very grateful for your help and deciphering whether the programming of the bowl and sensor is ok (the sensor is two-wire and I have not changed it personally, but you can actually see that it is brand new).
    All information is appreciated.

-2 ie you have 2 liters too much if I remember correctly.

During programming, the SD suggests which type to enter. The options are in the drop-down menu. According to VIN, nothing will probably be found.

I plugged in the resistances as the SD suggests 20-25 ohms and still the same, the sensor has about 18.5 ohms, the oil condition is normal, with the oil drained it has about 14 ohms, i.e. generally less SD gives higher values.
The old sensor was similarly displaying -2L (says the car owner) but I don't have the old sensor so I can't check it.
Apparently a simple and difficult matter at the same time I miss the idea a bit, maybe the engine controller is going crazy.
In the actual parameters in MR, it also shows the state -2L
If someone had something to think of, I would like to ask for information. I would be grateful.

I encountered a similar situation in a Setra 416 GT-HD, the oil level reading is analogous, the sensor is 2 wired, The final diagnosis was a damaged computer. It started innocently, while driving, the oil light came on and after a while it went out. It showed -2l on the display which was supposed to correspond to 2 liters below the state. After a while it was back to normal. It seemed that the sensor was freaking out because there was as much oil as it was supposed to be. We changed the sensor twice, after the first change it was good maybe a month, after the second one it was unchanged, the car started showing too low oil level, even at a standstill with the engine off. I also tried to change all combinations of sensors (5) and types of bowls (7) hoping that it would do something, but to no avail, or it showed too much oil or too little, and even as it already showed 0.5L over the state on one after a while it jumped on 3.5L above the state and so on. I restored the factory settings and gave up, the car went to another electrician who said that PLD is to blame and you either have to buy a new one or get used to it.
