There is no such possibility, you need a DVB-T antenna.

The plate is used to receive satellite TV. For digital terrestrial tv you need a suitable tv antenna (depends on where you live).

I understand I need a DVB-T antenna. location Bydgoszcz. what antenna do you recommend for terrestrial TV reception, I will add that there will be a short distance between the antenna and the TV set.

another question, if I would like to receive satellite channels with this dish, how to do it?

You need to buy a subscription, buy / rent a set-top box and connect it.

And did he write that he wants to watch scrambled?
A SAT decoder, preferably DVB-S2, is enough for reception from a satellite dish.

Such antennas do not exist, you need to buy an antenna for terrestrial TV signal reception, abbreviated as DVB-t.
You have about 20km to the transmitter plus the MUX-3 illuminating transmitter.

The distance from your antenna to the TV does not really matter here, we are talking about a distance of about 15/20 meters, I understand that my friend has a new antenna cable.

I will just mention that on MUX1, MUX2 and MUX3 an antenna dedicated to the UHF band, and on MUX8 an antenna dedicated to VHF. You bring the cables under the roof and connect the crossover with or without voltage transmission (cheaper). The option without the possibility of transmitting voltage can be used when both antennas are on a symmetrator.

The room antenna (Bydgoszcz-Trzeciewiec transmitter) should pass the exam - you need to check it yourself.

He probably wants to watch 3,000 free-to-air rubbish, including, of course, "free-to-air" TVP1 / 2, Polsat, TVN ...?

Topic summary

The discussion centers around the use of a Polsat satellite dish for receiving digital terrestrial TV channels. Users clarify that a DVB-T antenna is required for terrestrial reception, as the dish is designed for satellite TV. Recommendations for suitable antennas for the Bydgoszcz area are provided, emphasizing the need for a UHF band antenna for MUX1, MUX2, and MUX3, and a VHF antenna for MUX8. To receive satellite channels, a subscription and a DVB-S2 set-top box are necessary. The distance between the antenna and the TV is not critical, but a quality antenna cable is important for optimal signal reception.
