    Good day.
I have a Panaconic CF30 laptop. I recently purchased a JBL Xtreme bluetooth speaker. I'm trying to pair it with the built-in bluetooth. It can be paired only as headphones (unfortunately the sound quality is very poor). When I try to pair as A2dp, it crashes with the message "Unable to connect ...". Interestingly, when I click back after Unable ... then the speaker connects to the computer, but no audio device is added to the list. The speaker is still silent (even when paired with a computer).
There is bluetooth 2.0 in the computer, the speaker supports 4.2.
I had another speaker from Sony before and it worked perfectly.
I would add that when I switch to the linux system then the speaker works very well.
I don't know what to catch, where to look. Could this be due to the lack of winXP support ??

Anyone have any tips for this problem?

Have you tried installing the latest Bluetooth drivers? works on another laptop? did you try to connect via external bluetooth?

As suggested by Tak1, I have updated the drivers. Unfortunately, no effect. The speaker works fine under linux on the same computer. It also pairs and works with a tablet and phone. Only problem under WinXP. Unfortunately, I do not have an external bluetooth to check.

    Do you have SP3?

Yes. SP3 is installed. However, I noticed that the device is on the list of paired devices, the BT light is on, that the speaker has been paired. The wawe bluetooth device has appeared in the audio devices. Volume set to max, but no sound. Unfortunately, I still cannot save the audiosink device in the bluetooth manager.
