Hello. I have a Clio as in the topic Clio IV 1.5 dci from 2013. The problem is that at the temperatures that occur now the car fires very hard. As it turned out, there is no heating of glow plugs. It does not matter what the temperature outside the candles do not heat. Tested by tube. All good candles do not receive electricity. The candle relay is efficient, already exchanged from 2 other cars in my cars heats up. After disconnecting the engine temperature sensor, the computer shows 0 degrees so they should heat at this temperature. Even the second sensor in the snow cooled and plugged in also gives nothing. There is a permanent plus to the relay, but it looks like there is no power transfer from it to the candles. Does anyone know what else can be checked or has anyone had such a problem ??

Start by checking the glow plug fuse.

Damaged temperature sensor - can indicate that the engine is warm. And they will not turn on. Fluid temperature sensor. But there would be problems with smoking in the cold.

Sensor 2 connected and temperature checked on the computer on a regular basis. The problem is only on a cold engine after a night. If it fires up and the moment comes, it smokes perfectly.

After unplugging, the coolant temperature sensor of the engine controller should show -40 ° C. ( unless I'm wrong). In diagnostic computers there are such helpful commands, e.g. switching on the glow plug relay and you can see if it supplies voltage, or you can see if the relay is turned on.
    What about these things :?:

I also thought so with this -40C but in this car it does not show. Tests of the controller commands give nothing, no voltage appears.

So the relays are not working, check them may have coils burnt or contacts burned. Pull the relay housing and see if they catch. You can still bridge the working contacts.

We are talking about the glow plug driver (electronic). There are no contacts or coils.

The module in the middle of the connector goes thick red - is there a constant 12V power supply?
There are two thin ECU wires in the connector. On one should be about 11.5v and on the other about 10 V - is it?

If there is no error and the actuator test does not go, you read it with an iron

Sorry, I was wrong with the immersion heater relays.

So, so 12V power supply is constant and when it comes to these two thin ones under pin 3 black and white and pin 8 blue and black. If I check them with - then the voltage is 11.5V on 3 and 3.5V on 8 and if I check it with + then 0.46 on 3 and 3.5V on the 8V plugs from the candle relay.

Enter the number of the candle relay.

    110678071R relay number on
There are 8 pins in the relay, 4 from fixed lights plus constant weight and 2 control pins.

    Added after 49 [minutes]:

As it turned out, the fuse 70 burned in such a strange way that the current showed on the unfastened relay and at the start as the genie the contact cleaning disappeared and replacing the fuse did the trick. Thank you all for your interest in the topic and attempts to help solve the problem. I close the topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2013 Renault Clio IV 1.5 dCi experiencing issues with glow plugs not heating, leading to difficulty starting the engine in cold conditions. The user confirmed that the glow plug relay and temperature sensors were tested, with no faults found. Suggestions included checking the glow plug fuse, verifying the functionality of the glow plug driver, and ensuring proper voltage supply to the relay and plugs. Ultimately, the problem was traced to a burned fuse (70), which was not initially apparent, and replacing it resolved the issue.
