Unfortunately, these are normal results in such weather conditions.
    Short episodes,
    underheated engine,
frequent starting of a cold engine,
    interior heating switched on,
    high rolling resistance on snow,
    high speed blower on,
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

Do you have "temporary fuel consumption" on the display? See how much you have when you start off in the first seconds? It certainly is or exceeds 20 l / 100. And how many such situations do you "take off" from under the lights. And this is average consumption.

It is burning on a warm engine in mixed mode and yes I do not have a computer I do not know about temporary combustion

If you had the opportunity to go with a friend who has a display with temporary fuel consumption - let them switch to this function and then you will find out what's going on. It doesn't matter if the engine is warm - the way of starting from the lights, and the consumption varies. My car / diesel / 1.4 td - medium on route 5 to 5.5, in city 8, but never the wheels squeak when starting - and comp. shows then 18. If I started with a bigger "break up" it would temporarily reach 25/100. Several such situations every day and an average of 15 l / 100 will come out.

Only this average fuel consumption is like I was on the road all the time and then the city without a break. As if these were short episodes, I would agree. The heating is not only at half and the blowing is the same.

It was measured at a temperature of -6. Economic driving up to 90 km. A combustion on average 9 liters. City for 12 or more

During the week I have to see the pressure on the cylinders because the computer has an error on the 3rd cylinder I replaced candles. There may be some fuel leaks

He was connected to a computer. The second probe hung up, slightly ignited Egr ignition and cleaning throttle and catalyst to check and measure injection pressure.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the high fuel consumption issue of a 2007 Opel Meriva 1.6 gasoline vehicle, which shows a discrepancy between highway consumption (6L/100km) and city consumption (12L/100km). The owner reports that the car has a mileage of 180,000 km and experiences this high city consumption even when the engine is warm. Various factors affecting fuel consumption are discussed, including driving habits, short trips, and external conditions such as temperature. Suggestions include checking temporary fuel consumption metrics, cylinder pressure, and potential fuel leaks. The owner has already replaced spark plugs and checked the lambda probe, but further diagnostics are recommended, including examining the EGR system and throttle body.
