    Hello.
Old router and new router in DSL network from 2 months - the same problem.
2 notebooks with Win7 work without a problem.
    3 Androids too.
    Problem with the Win10 notebook:
When connected to the router there is no internet connection with WiFi.
The address that is assigned to the MAC of the card is not transmitted and windows entered his car.
I switched off the AIPIA, replaced the drivers, reset and installed them many times - without success.
Of course, in other networks, in companies or hotels there is no problem - the notebook connects without problems.
I used an external USB WiFi card - it worked several days and today is the same as with the built-in one.
If you disable AIPIA then there is no address at all, how to enter the address rigidly but the internet is not there.
The configuration of the router is identical for notebooks with Win7 as for my and there were never any problems on them.
I have not found anything on the forums so I'm starting to ask questions.
    greetings

PS. I believe that the router model and provider are irrelevant - the previous three-year was a different company and that was the problem I wrote above (technicians took it) but I will say: currently Comtrend VR-3036u is working and the supplier is TPSA or Orange

    Hello
A strange problem but unfortunately it sometimes happens.
At the beginning, I suggest you check whether the laptop with win10 connects to the wireless network and gets assigned IP from the router? because there may be two problems here. One with IP assignment and the other with the Internet itself.
It's worth putting pictures of this connection.

I generally advise against using older routers for WiFi connections because they are problematic, i.e. no smartphone, tablet or laptop wants to work with them for wifi.

I assume that this applies only to Win10 and the remaining equipment is! If so, I suggest you stay with the automatic downloading of IP and DNS in this laptop.

it is not so obvious at all. As it is, it would indicate a problematic router at home.

maybe it's worth inserting the card into another USB port and see if it behaves the same way, ie, for some time and no connection.

    because maybe not entered DNS-y?

    it looks like it's ok.
In summary, if a colleague so checked how it writes is at least a strange situation. I bet on the hardware problem, i.e. I suggest substituting the router for a new one.

I rather expect problems with Win10, because, as I said, there is a new router, Win7 is ok, and there is no problem with the Win10 notebook in other networks. Transferring to another USB port does not change anything, only what's strange is that a few days after using the WiFi USB modem was a connection and the internal WiFi does not. After a few days, problems on the external WiFi also occurred. Attached call drop - address assigned.

Why permanent addressing assigned? Do you get something after setting up the network card for automatic download?

I have similar with Win10. After each launch, it does not connect to WiFi, I have to administer ipconfig / release and ipconfig / renew with cmd in admin mode and the connection starts. Of course, DHCP enabled. They did something in update 10.

How to give a car there are no addresses at all, but at the time when the USB WiFi card worked - until yesterday - the address was broadcast.
How to attach in windows AIPIA this address is always broadcast from the series 168.192 .... and there is also no internet.

Thank you for the ipconfig / release and ipconfig / renew commands - they worked but only for the USB WiFi modem, unfortunately there is no WiFi inside.

it does not prove anything - once I had a problem with choosing a "NEW" router which was to be connected to the DSL line from TP.SA-Orange. I have bought Asus and TP-Link (price range PLN 300-400) which should (according to specification) walk on these links. Unfortunately, although the synchronization on the line was the internet no.

    and it will not be.

quite possible because I've also fought with the network environment recently.
    I suggest :
    1. Disconnect all firewalls and anti-viruses for testing completely.
    2. See what the same Windows 10 manufacturer proposes in the article: Troubleshooting network connection problems in Windows 10 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10741/windows-10-fix-network-connection-issues
    3. Uninstall the network adapter drivers in the device manager and delete them. After their liquidation, only install the drivers from the computer manufacturer.
    4. If there are no drivers for Windows 10, you can test on older ones but I think my friend already did it.
    5. In this case, it is worth sending an e-mail or calling the helpline (as it is in Poland) to the computer manufacturer and ask about the current driver for the win.10
    6. If this does not help, I would substitute another new test router.

The ipconfig / release and ipconfig / renew commands worked once. They do not help today. I am starting to make a list of my colleague - thank you for the guidelines.
After attempts I will write about the effects. At the weekend I will have another router - by the way - all 3 are from Orange and were inserted by their technicians.

    Welcome after the weekend.
    I tested the proposed variants:
As I wrote above on the Orange router, which worked for 2 years and was replaced about 2 months ago, the problem was identical.
On the new router also from Orange, the built-in card and USB behave similarly.
In addition, I had on Saturday a router from Orange operating in a neighborly company - similar effects:

There are no problems on win7 and on Android. In addition, I tested on the old XP - also OK.

On my notebook with win10 after combining with drivers, using the commands "ipconfig / release and ipconfig / renew", after reset - in different order sometimes the IP address was assigned by the router and the internet was until the next reset or start / stop the network.

I think it is a problem in Win10. If there are no better proposals then I will try Microsoft.
    I will share the effects.
    greetings

It's a pity that a colleague started from behind

it looks like it after the tests on the routers.

    they are in post # 7 points 1, 2 and 5.
And did a friend like I wrote in p.3? Not only to uninstall but to delete.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a persistent WiFi connectivity issue on a Windows 10 notebook, which fails to access the internet despite being connected to the router. The user reports that other devices, including Windows 7 notebooks and Android devices, connect without issues. Various troubleshooting steps have been attempted, including disabling AIPIA, replacing drivers, and using an external USB WiFi card, but the problem persists. Users suggest checking IP assignment, ensuring DHCP is enabled, and temporarily disabling firewalls and antivirus software. The issue appears to be specific to Windows 10, as the notebook connects fine in other networks. The user plans to test with a different router and is considering reaching out to Microsoft for further assistance.
