    Hello.
I have a 307 3-door 1.6 gasoline hatchback year 2004. I have a problem with the light and rain sensor.
At the beginning I will add that the car has a combined switch DELPHI COM2000 and ESP.
Now, as the situation looks, the glass was replaced by the previous owner. Holding the AUTO button on the turn signal handle appears in the center display (Automatic Lighting Active) and the lights come on immediately. Turning the wiper lever on AUTO, the intermittent mode is simply activated (Automatic Wiping Active is shown sporadically for a moment, in summer in high heat it happened that the sensor worked for half a minute).
I bought a new, original, unused sensor, replaced the old one - the situation remains unchanged. PP2000 shows no errors, the sensor is programmed in BSI. Only by disconnecting the plug from the sensor, the BSI error log then shows "communication error with the light sensor".

In what direction to go further?
    Regards

    Hello
I had a similar problem after replacing the glass in my 307sw 2.0 gasoline 16v. The rain and dusk sensors stopped working. The original pane had a so-called photochromic glass, and I brushed and put on a less expensive pane, so-called green. They replaced this pane at an authorized service center and in addition at my side. they have encountered such a phenomenon once - they have already replaced one million glass panes and there has never been such a problem.
I went to the electronics, I mention that the wipers in the auto mode worked only in the time interval every 5s, and the dusk sensor did not work at all, i.e. the board was illuminated all the time with the lights on. Although the auto mode at the traffic lights worked, but the board was illuminated non-stop, regardless of the time of day.
And what did the electronics do ...? He entered the bsi computer, tried all variants of the sensor operation regarding the type of glass, and in bsi there are three - in no mode the sensor did not work - as if it was damaged.
We connected another same sensor with the same serial numbers and NOTHING just a silent device.
I came to terms with it and drove without these options, but one day .......... my window cracked again, bad luck is bad luck - a pebble from under a truck and ...
But that not always a wise Pole after the damage - I bought oc with the auto-glass variant earlier - and exchanged for the original solar / photochrom. He exchanged the workshop, hooked up the sensor, and this one did not start working, i.e. all rain and dusk sensors work
To sum up the version of the glass is significant, only nobody was able to explain this phenomenon to me

I also set up a new one with the same numbers. There are sensors with different markings and they are selected for the type of glass, unfortunately it is not described anywhere what sensor for which glass. I was sure that although connected, the light sensor would work properly.
