While the phone is running, the phone is rechargeable. However, when it turns off (discharges), it does not charge carbon. There is zero power consumption, no charging voltage at the battery connector. Doc and battery are ok. Any idea? Could it be U2? Or Q2? Only if Q2 were released, there would be no charging even on the phone on, right? I am asking for some advice, if someone met with it, it is already 3 pcs. This week for the same.

How do you verify loading? Maybe there is something to it.

Through a laboratory power supply or a USB meter that is connected to the charger.

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

When the battery voltage drops below 3.5-3.3 V, the charger cannot be charged anymore, you need to charge the battery under a power supply with a current limitation.

You mentioned U2 and Q2 in the latter? Did you give a new battery? What current does the phone draw through the charger? Give the reading of the AC adapter if you plug it in instead of the battery and plug in the charger. What is the electricity consumed by the phone when it is in sleep mode? - power supply as a battery.

U2 replaced new battery. Under the power supply, it normally starts, while the charger is connected, the power consumption on the charger is close to zero (exactly 0.01 A), without the power supply on the battery, the same power consumption on the charger. After losing the voltage on the power supply, the current consumption on the carbon charger. does not change. Q2 not exchanged.

Replace Q2 or make a jumper temporarily and see if it will be ok, sometimes Q2 does not charge either.

Exactly, replace this transistor, very often it's his fault, as in the attached picture :)

Gentlemen, art (iphone 5c) that does not charge carbon on the turned on or off phone. zero current consumption, focus more on Q2 or U2. previous post helped problem solved.

It would be good if you could verify the current consumption of the motherboard, U2 fault (Tristar) can be diagnosed by the overcurrent consumption, specifying the exact cause.

Focus on U2 replacement first, If that doesn't help, we'll keep looking.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a charging issue with the iPhone 5s, where the device shows zero power consumption after discharge and fails to charge. Users suggest that the problem may be related to the U2 (Tristar) or Q2 components. It is noted that when the battery voltage drops below 3.5-3.3 V, the charger cannot charge the battery, necessitating a power supply with current limitation. Several users recommend replacing the U2 component first, as it is often the cause of such issues. If the problem persists, they suggest checking or replacing the Q2 component. The discussion includes various diagnostic approaches, such as measuring current consumption and using a laboratory power supply.
