Hello, recently I had to replace the battery in my iPhone 5s I bought a battery my uncle took batteries with my iphon to the site they made there exchange confirmed that everything works. The phone did not turn on, my uncle said that this guy on this site said to charge the phone 24h because sometimes it happens so that the battery is discharged the phone after connecting to the charger still does not react, nothing is displayed or heard. It is still connected to the charger worries about him. Should I really charge it 24 hours?

No, you should not charge him 24 hours.
A working phone with the original charger should charge about 2 hours (no max to 3 hours.
If the battery voltage falls below a certain level, even 500h will not help.
It is possible that the battery is of poor quality.
To start with, a simple question -
Is there any phone reaction after connecting to the charger?

Well, as I wrote, it is possible that the battery will be scrap or something with a disc (but it's only if it's done).
I do not understand only one - if you can not change the battery (and probably you do not know it at all) why do you buy batteries of unknown origin and take to the service for exchange?
You close the same way of complaint.

This complaint is with the seller and that it is all the more complicated this issue.
Take to the service and ask to check the phone on a working battery.

Complicated and expensive - after all, the battery exchange service has been done
and now checking the phone on a different battery may (although it does not have to) charge additional costs.
In addition, if it was a purchase on the Allegro, there is still the cost of sending the damaged battery back to the seller.
Besides, if the servicer says that the battery needs to be charged 24h, I assume that he does not have too much knowledge.

Charging a new 24-hour battery - I'm sorry, but I have not heard much stupidity, doing something like that can even damage something. I can say from myself that if the phone does not respond to power (i.e. without the apple logo, etc.) then most probably something has been damaged. Connect the iPhone under the PC, check if it is detected by the computer, and if so, does iTunes see it correctly - if so, I put on the screen / layout. If not - motherboard / power module? Due to the poor quality of the battery, some kind of overvoltage could have arisen from possible damage to the board. By the way, a small tip for all beginners - do not buy the cheapest parts for iPhones, it's really not worth it. AND

I read and do not believe ...

The battery is simply too deeply discharged. She must have been lying in a warehouse for a long time. Connecting the phone for charging 24 hours helps in this situation. Come not always. If it has 0v, you can bring such batteries to life by giving it some power directly on the contacts.

What do you not believe in? The fact that the new battery is damaged or in the fact that there is no need to charge a new battery 24h because as long as you know the specifics of iphons, even on a discharged battery should appear charging icon.

In this case, the battery bought is a waste or something damaged during its replacement.

Well, maybe the icon should appear and in practice it is quite different. Often only after a full night under the charger such a battery will wake up. And it is not charging at all, because such an iPhone then gets from 0.05-0.1 Ampere and only when it catches and shows up the icon it starts to load normally.

And here I will bring my colleague out of error because if the battery will have 0V, the iPhone will not show anything on the screen. Such a battery in most cases, you need to raise the power supply to 3.3V so that the iPhone showed the icon and started charging. It often happens that if the battery is below 3V, the iPhone does not show the charging icon and in most cases when it is below 2.5V, it is necessary to charge the charger up to 3.3V.

it can be a burnt u2 chip, which is responsible for the power supply in the iphone, among others. even after replacing a new battery, it may not turn on. it is not a cheap solution but it can resurrect the phone and even improve its life on a single charge.

This system is not responsible for charging, but the blades will mix if damaged (adhered)

Colleagues, one way or another, you need to take the phone for service diagnostics. Unfortunately, nothing else here will not help our colleague if I want to replace the battery with him for service. I would suggest to take the phone to the service and let them put in a new battery and test it whether it works or not. If someone came, please replace the battery in the phone and the service only agreed without asking what is going on and it was collected by the service and not the customer who does not know that when the phone does not start is not only the battery is to blame. So dear friend, find another better service that will fix your phone.

    Why guilty service?

A client comes to me with a battery bought on an allegro and asks how much the exchange costs, so I say that so much and I exchange without penetrating more.
If the customer comes and describes the situation, asking whether the replacement of the battery in this case is justified and makes sense is a completely different story.

I always just ask why someone has taken the trouble and bought a battery since they also have and can exchange it on the website. Because there were cases like here that the customer returns that he does not work and then the conversation that I already have at the beginning begins and the client then issues a better opinion.

I had a case that the customer came to replace the battery because he replaced the screen and the phone fell, and turned out to be screwed behind a long screw.

The above matters are obvious to me, just like the touch problem in 6plus - this is never the fault of the panel. Lack of reading sim - it's never the fault of the sim slot etc. It's worth asking 2-3 questions and not pushing yourself into meaningless activities.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an iPhone 5s that fails to power on after a battery replacement. The user was advised to charge the device for 24 hours, but several responses indicate that this is unnecessary and potentially harmful. It is suggested that the battery may be defective or of poor quality, as a functioning battery should charge within 2 to 3 hours. The lack of any reaction from the phone when connected to a charger raises concerns about the battery's condition or possible damage to the device itself. Recommendations include checking the phone with a known working battery and considering service diagnostics to identify any underlying issues, such as a faulty U2 chip or motherboard damage. Overall, the consensus is that charging for 24 hours is not advisable and that further investigation is needed to resolve the issue.
