Hello, I have the following problem, the Dragon Winch winch only works on uncoiling the rope, unfortunately the winch does not. After getting into the can with control I found 2 relays. Can anyone explain to me how this 6-pin relay works, I suspect that the 2 thin leads are the ends of the coils, so what are the other 4 contacts for? Thank you

Hello. Such a relay has two contacts closing the wire.

I understand that these 2 contacts closing the circuit are those on the insulated board. So what are these 2 on the sides of the relay for?

You have the diagram on the housing. The side power supply is the upper power output. Sometimes the power supplies are connected together. Meter in hand and check. For this scheme.

The diagram is not on the housing. For me there is only a sticker with Chinese characters and 12v. Colleague kkknc is right. The side outputs have a separate contact and the upper ones have their own.

Well you combine these thin relay coils.
The other are the force contacts of your winch, two because it's enough to change phases.
How many gears does this winch have?

This winch has only the winding and unwinding of the rope, possibly still "slack" activated by a lever in the clutch, but this "slack" works only mechanically, with electrics it has nothing to do. Currently, after replacing one relay, my equipment is working well.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the functionality of a 6-pin relay in a Dragon Winch, specifically addressing issues with the winch only uncoiling the rope. Users clarify the relay's configuration, indicating that the two thin leads are for the relay coils, while the other four contacts serve different functions. It is suggested to connect 12V to the relay coil and use a multimeter to identify which contacts close. The conversation also notes that the winch operates with separate contacts for winding and unwinding, and after replacing one relay, the winch functioned correctly.
