    Hello.
As in the subject I have no idea what is blocking my camera. I've scanned the system, the virus is gone. Well, any program through which I try to use it informs me that it is taken by another program. This is not true, I checked it with Process Explorer and nothing. Windows correctly recognizes the device, but when you run troubleshooting in the manager, this incorrectly informs you that it is connected to usb 3.0. It does not give me anything, I've tried all the possible ports. My operating system is win 10, trust camera trino HD720p.

I once had a similar problem with the built-in camera. In my case, you had to enable in the settings "allow applications to use the camera". If you did not enable this option, a message was displayed either as you or the camera is not available.

I shared the camera and microphone, rebooted the system and ... nothing. I will add that it works fine on another computer. Error code from the Windows Camera application: 0xA00F4244 (0xC00D36D5).
Antivirus (ess premium) set to learn mode. But I do not know if this will help, because the problem was still present during the temporarily disabled protection and firewall.

Unfortunately, from what I see you are not an isolated case when it comes to this error.
The only sensible answer I got when browsing the error code search results is to update the chipset drivers, USB controllers, etc.
Try it, it certainly will not hurt.

When did this problem occur? Do you have a camera, camera, scanner or something similar installed on your computer?
Do you have any software installed that could use this type of device?
This is a laptop, a desktop computer?

Current drivers. While searching on the net I came across something like this http://www.reviversoft.com/processes/ksthunk.sys?ncr=1&lang=en. There are 3 drivers for the camera in the device manager. edevmon.sys, ksthunk.sys, usbvideo.sys. I tried to uninstall them from the manager level, and checked in the drivers folder if they actually broke them. The first two are still there.
It looks like there is some conflict between the audio driver and the camera driver. I tried to fire him, but I can not afford cholera.
I do not have any of the above devices installed in my pct. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to determine when the problem occurred, because I use the webcam rather rarely. Recently I installed only anti-virus, but as I wrote with the protection and firewall disabled, the camera still does not work. Maybe I'll try to dump him completely and see what happens. With other applications that can block it, I only have windows.

And any Skype or other messenger that can use the camera? Mobile phone?

I repeat the question - what kind of computer is it?

I'm refreshing the topic because I had this problem myself and I found a way, maybe it will help you. I couldn't turn on the camera on my computer because another app was supposedly blocking it. I turned off the camera for WhatsApp on my mobile phone for a moment, then it worked on my computer. Regards.
