I confirm - rectifying diode 1A / 1000V - specifically S1M or BYG10M; 1N4007 can also be. If LNK304GN is on fire, I would check GR2 (the one below, cathode up) - ES1J . Choke short circuit rather unlikely. With overvoltage, these diodes can be damaged strangely, you will not check it on the meter.

I advise you to skip the LNK304 circuit, which is very emergency, and use a transformer power supply with a 7812 stabilizer.
