I am looking for a cheap migomatem to learn / work amateur (something to wink sometimes, sleep the door, make a small cell from profiles and other shit). Generally, just some Chinese from the market. However, maybe there is something that is worth the attention to 700 PLN for 230V and shield wire (without cylinder)? I know that there will be comments immediately that you can only buy a soldering iron for 700 PLN. But that's how it happens on the forums ... On the paint forums also write that the compressor is buying a minimum of 50l. I bought 24l and I have enough without problems, I would also like a bit of forgiveness if I had more to give it.

what do you think about this

Buddy, I'm not persuading, but in this money I would buy a small MMA inverter welder, light, comfortable, easy to weld, like an electrode. Generally, Dedra is recommended in this forum, it is worth reading :-) . Even a penny, even after the purchase of electrodes, will be cheap, and electrodes will be bought for the pieces you buy. Or as a migomat, it's normal, you can find used in these funds, complete with a 5kg bottle, filling such a bottle of CO2 is about PLN 30, 5kg wire comes out similarly, welding convenience better than self-locking, which is incomparably more expensive (unless you're going to to buy really Chinese badziewie), some route or some slag there, the quality and construction of the device itself is often very thin.
We'll see what others write, but for me, self-controlled wire magnetizer is a bit dead end, and the possible reworking of the welder in the future, to weld gas from the cylinder is also a considerable expense, sometimes it is necessary to add a rectifier, dławik, poprawic / replace the feeder, handle, add a solenoid valve, etc .. I bought a used and somewhat devastated TIP Super Mig 160A migrant for PLN 120, basically for the feeder, power subassemblies and housing, I bought a cylinder and reducer, replaced the 3 meter handle with the euro connector and the same I mounted the socket, I added a cooling fan, and as it turned out later that I lost my original control, I made a new one for a few zlotys on immortal cubes NE555 ;-) - in total, it all came out below PLN 500, has copper windings, 0.8 wire on the highest range, it's nice to weld, it does not overheat, I'm fully satisfied for such a machine :-) it's enough for garage work, a bracket for somebody, shelves, brackets, sheet metal in the car, I still have the transformer Bester Sta225, but since I have a migomat, I'm practically standing fallow, unless something really fat needs to sleep.

Without the cylinder, you still have an electrode welder, so I wonder why people think about it at all.

    Only reactive gas MAG.

why without bottles? because it is cheaper and more convenient (I remind you that it is supposed to be home work equipment).

I was thinking about an inverter on the electrode, but the electrode is a bit of a past and it is known that the migomat is nicer welds, and the skill of nice welding is a valuable skill and I also care about it (to expand my skills)

You can not compare migomas with or without a cylinder. In my opinion, a better inverter welder. You weld acidis, aluminum and a pose of other materials.

Honestly, I never welded the electrode. Only a high-profile migomatem. Tell me, can an inverter come to such a skill, to weld like a migomat?

I am not a professional welder but an amateur. I have a small migomat on the cylinder and I am very happy with it. But I am going to buy Dedre 180 anyway. I did not weld it, I saw the work done with this welder by an amateur welder. He said he was welding himself.

And what do you have for a migom?
in this migomat to which I gave the link you can weld with self-shield wire, but you can also connect gas cylinders. It's always a way out as I actually come to the conclusion that flux is not ** welding

Tiptronik profi mig 145. Transformer, four stages of regulation. In a CO2 bottle. Simple, amateur.

I had such fears about buying the bezomutowy Migomatów. I need to sleep something once a year, and the electrode welder was "too crude." The point to purchase this migomat was to purchase a Nissan Micra vehicle in the scrap price, because without a review. The car had a few holes in the sills, so I said I would learn to weld.
And I will say yes - the welder is doing well! I slept through the body in a midget, then a bit of trinkets in and around the house. A half-wire wire cushion is expensive, but it is long enough for amateur welding. I REPEAT - AMATEUR. However, if you want to use this welder more professionally, it will not work.

and something thicker than tin? e.g. profiles, pipes

Probably not. Mine is 80A and chosen to work on the car + plus something light on the farm.

If you have not bought it yet, think about a dual mig 200 for Sherman. It costs a bit more, but it has more welding ranges, you can weld with wire in a shield and in a gas, or a trivial thing like space for bottles and wheels.
I use such a few years for amateur welding and it works well.
I also think that a cylinder without a cylinder is a bit pointless. At the beginning you can weld with self-shielding wire, over time buy more cylinders. Here I recommend a mix of CO2Ar, it can cost more, but the welds come out nicer.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding an affordable MIG welder (migomat) for amateur DIY projects, specifically under 700 PLN, without the need for a gas cylinder. Users suggest considering MMA inverter welders, such as those from Dedra, for their ease of use and cost-effectiveness. The advantages of MIG welding over electrode welding are highlighted, particularly for achieving better weld quality. Some participants recommend specific models like the Dedra 180 and Tiptronik Profi MIG 145, while others mention the importance of having the option to use gas in the future. The consensus leans towards investing in a dual MIG welder for versatility, allowing for both self-shielding wire and gas welding.
