Hello one of my monitors is problematic I have two monitors connected via adapters this problematic is connected via VGA on displayport when turning on the computer both monitors work without any problems but after starting the computer the monitor connected via displayport entered into powersave mode I clicked something and changed the resolution to 1024 x 768 and the monitor works normally, displays the image and at lower resolutions also but at higher resolutions it does not go into economy mode and now my question what should I do? my graphics card is msi radeon r9 270x I also bought an HDMI adapter but then the computer does not even detect the monitor. I will add that the monitor works without any problem at any resolution on a different DVI input on the one on which I have a second monitor so this is not a problem with the cable or the monitor rather not.
Thank you in advance for your help.

From what you can read, both monitor models have only a D-Sub input (unless this Samsung model is with some extension?).

You have one monitor connected to the DVI-I connector through the adapter and it works OK? Yes?

Want to connect a second monitor that only has D-Sub? Yes?

    What did it work on?

Well, as it is now it works, sorry if something is spinning or I present vaguely, I do not know, but these monitors have DSUB input and I connect these adapters to the computer and connect the monitors.

Swap monitors (place the cables on the monitor side). We'll see if the problem has the monitor or the unit converter.

changing cables makes the second monitor have the same problems as the previous one

I understand that you have the flatron in the E2242S version - the E2242T version has DVI on the back except VGA.
Set the resolution 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz for the monitor connected to UNITEK.
Unitek who is not an adapter and an analog to digital converter has a problem. And he has to please him.

Did it work normally before? Ie. on the native resolution of this monitor?

Refreshing is the same as before?

    Maybe there was an adapter.

Yes, refreshing is the same I will try with this driver and the adapter does not know if it could fall because the monitor works, but with a lower resolution

After reinstalling the drivers, the same problem appears as I uninstalled them, two monitors showed the same image and after installing one works and the one on the displayport again only 1024 x 786 resolution or smaller and on larger power save mode

If it's under warranty, give it back.

A lot of people use the Converter Converter from HDMI to VGA cable DSUB FV Wwa (6598037737) and usually works correctly - they write usually because a few people had problems.

It's like I wrote, give that one back for warranty, let them exchange it if everything worked before.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing issues with a monitor connected via a DisplayPort to VGA adapter, specifically an LG Flatron E2242, while using an MSI Radeon R9 270X graphics card. The monitor enters power-saving mode when set to higher resolutions, functioning only at 1024 x 768 or lower. The user has attempted various resolutions and has also purchased an HDMI adapter, which the computer fails to detect. Responses suggest checking the adapters, swapping cables, and reinstalling graphics drivers. The user reports that after driver reinstallation, the problem persists, with both monitors displaying the same image at times. Recommendations include returning the HDMI adapter under warranty due to detection issues.
