Hello, I would like to ask for advice. I have an Octavia I 1.6 BFQ with sequential LPG and I have a problem with the engine. The computer shows errors:
P0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit Range / Performance,
P0171 mixture too lean bank 1
P0138 probe voltage too high bank 1 sensor 2

The problem is the uneven operation of the engine after a good warm-up of the car (as if there was a misfiring), fluctuations in revolutions until the engine goes out, the brake pedal becomes hard and there is a problem with firing (it will fire but after long and several turns). The problem occurs from time to time and when visiting a mechanic, the car works normally, with gas I asked about the adjustment and mentioned the symptoms, you told me to check the coil because after warming up it goes crazy and these are the symptoms, and somewhere I invented cases that it was the fault of the first probe, maybe has anyone had such a case?

    best regards

It will be hard because these engines (although honest and durable) have been dealt with by emergency electronics - they fall asleep with errors and failures like some drowners.
What you throw out indicates the EGR and the probe to be replaced, but the errors will hit as the ignition coil will die (symptoms after warming up) but damage to the coil itself will not indicate. What's worst, only branded products can still do this on cheap replacements of coils. It is best to change it for a trial from a similar, functional one.
But it can also be the main engine controller and then the costs become high - as I wrote: Polish burned, 100% accident-free, and after a few years they fall with errors like floods.
What would I suggest you to clean the massage cables correctly: to the doghouse and to the controller, because it is also a frequent cause of errors and if it does not help, reading the Internet, because in skaters, vapers and alders a whole lot of topics with problems regarding this particular engine.

I changed the coil unchanged, I changed the second probe, error p0138 disappeared but the symptoms of jerking after heating remained, I will get to the EGR in the near future, but the question is, is it enough to clean it and need to be adapted somehow or will it be damaged? I saw somewhere that the electronics sit in it.

The problem was solved by cleaning the EGR valve and there was something to clean, the car no longer jerks after warming up and does not throw out errors.
