    Hello,
for some time the engine has been very uneven at idle, it also manifests itself by a slight jerking of the engine when starting off. VagCom displays two identical errors to me:
    2 Faults Found:
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-00 - -
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-00 - -
So the correction of the FT mixture, Bank 1> poor mixture.
After deletion, one of them appears immediately after some time the second appears.
1.6 V BFQ petrol engine (STAG sequential installation).
It seemed to me that the sensor of the crankshaft position could be guilty because occasionally such an error (16719) also appeared to me. Unfortunately, the exchange (original Bosch) did not give anything but the engine is not working unevenly.
I also made logs (only static for now).

You can clearly see too little mass of air sucked in, a little too low speed, too much fuel. The accelerator pedal is also not at 0 and not at 0.2 (some time ago I unplugged the throttle plug - I probably did an adaptation, I was riding a bit with it so it seemed to be ok).
My suspicions fall on the lambda probe, possibly on some left air in the intake manifold.
The car has LPG. Regardless of whether on gas or on petrol the engine at low speed is the same, i.e. very uneven.
    I am asking for advice.

Adaptation 00 Remove the paramers and it will be Ok. You can still take the curse. Gas for regulation.

In a hurry I did not put in all the mistakes, only the ones that were fewer, there were more of them yesterday after a long drive:
    7 Faults Found:
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-00 - -
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16514 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
    P0130 - 35-00 - -
    16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
    P0303 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
    16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
    P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
    16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
    P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - Random / Multiple Misfire Detected Cylinder
    P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Gas regulation? When the gas is turned off, the engine goes unevenly. It seems to me that the car should first lead to proper work on gasoline and only regulate the gas.

You see that the injection time is twice as large as it should be. Do what he writes and then compare the times of gas and gas. You will see that after switching to gas the injection time of the bartender changes dramatically. And here is the problem, because it should not.

Ok, tomorrow I will do as you say.

    Welcome back,
I removed the negative kleme for several minutes, I reset the throttle learned values and then correctly adopted it. The gas has been turned off at all since yesterday I am not enclosing it. And nothing has changed the engine continues to work unevenly.
    Next, the error crashes:
    2 Faults Found:
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-00 - -
16555 - Fuel Trim: Too Lean system: Bank 1
    P0171 - 35-00 - -
    Readiness: 1110 1101
I wonder why errors are displayed twice.
Is Bank 1 a probe mounted closer to the engine?

    I made the static logs again on blocks: 000, 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 031, 033, 077.

I still suspect the left air or lambda probe or its circuit. At the weekend I will probably dismantle the intake and check the lambda probe circuit.

You should already have a broadband probe and it will not be her fault or cabling.
Look for the left air between the flow meter and the head, or a flow meter.
EGR is probably not because the ECU should see that it is not closed.

I bought Plaka and started to piss at various points of arrival. Evidently, the left air is heard as the engine reacts and starts walking for a moment like a trick in the final part of the intake (the injectors and the contact with the head). I bought seals for injectors and connections to the head. As soon as the frosts are over I will remove the intake, replace the gaskets and check for any cracks.

The fault localized, after removing the booster on the 2nd cylinder, I found a field defect in the seal at the contact with the engine head. The method on the plot turned out to be reliable, more reliable than computer diagnostics :) Thank you for your help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Skoda Octavia 1.6 8V BFQ engine experiencing uneven idling and multiple VagCom error codes indicating a lean fuel trim condition (P0171). The user initially suspected the crankshaft position sensor but found no improvement after replacement. Subsequent diagnostics revealed additional errors related to misfires in multiple cylinders and a malfunctioning oxygen sensor. Suggestions included checking for vacuum leaks, inspecting the lambda probe circuit, and ensuring proper fuel pressure. The user identified a defective seal at the intake manifold, which was confirmed as the source of the issue after further investigation. The resolution involved replacing the faulty gaskets and seals.
