    Hi,

I bought an SSD yesterday to speed up Windows - it fell on the Polish Good Ram CX300 128GB design.
I watched various tests and it performed very well in this price range.
My hardware is the Assrock 970DE U3S3
    AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2 GHz
    RAM GOODRAM DDR3 GR1333D364L9 - 4GB

I decided to test the ATTO DISK disk. There is a video on YTube where during the test the maximum speeds reach up to 499 Mb / s when saving (I attach the file).
For me it is max 350 ... and now I wonder if this is due to some defect in the disk or the equipment. The disk is of course connected to SATA3 and has the latest drivers for that port downloaded. I don't know if I have a basis to advertise a disc?

Hardware faults, specifically the ASMedia ASM1061 controller (motherboard / chipset does not have native SATA3 support). Transfers at the level of 360-380MB / s are the norm for him.

    Thanks for explaining ...
I know that the disc is old, etc., but in my opinion it is misleading ... or marketing halt ... why mount SATA 3 and write in specifications up to 600MB / s - since it is known that it will not reach speed :)
However, apart from this, the difference in work is colossal compared to HDD :)

In the case of SSD, transfers are of secondary importance - what makes using the SSD so pleasant to use a computer is the time of access to data.
