Hello!
I have a problem with Goodram CX 400 SSDs. The second piece went for a service replacement to X-KOM and each time I copy games to this disk (I have a 2.5 "500GB HDD on the disk replacement time), the disk suddenly becomes so slow Like the old ATA drive, the HDD light on the computer case is still on. These drives last a day, maybe two, and again. It's a 512GB CX 400.
I have a total of 4 drives in the housing: the old Seagate 500GB from 2009, small 500GB 2.5 "500GB, Samsung 860 EVO 250GB (with which there are no problems, the system starts in a few seconds) and the unfortunate Goodram.
Configuration as follows:
Motherboard: Aorus Elite B450
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RAM-Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB
Graphics: Aorus Radeon RX 570 4GB
Power supply: SilentiumPC Vero M2 Bronze
System: Windows 10 64-bit
As you can see, everything is new, nothing heats up, does not freeze, nor does the VRM of the board heat up, because the processor is not too powerful (TDP 65W), which I was warned about on the forum that the board was lame. The problem occurs immediately after starting the game and either loads several minutes (Rise of The Tomb Raider), or crashes to the desktop at startup, and even BSoDs were also. In the task manager, this disk is 100% used, the light is on even when idle, you can see that it is "grinding" all the time
When I start games with HDD, it is a rocket, even large titles are max 30 seconds. I still send the SSD back, I have to order a courier (fortunately, I don't pay for it only x-com), wait for some sucker who often won't even ring, and then wait for a new disk, which is about to fall off.
I suspect the power supply, although if it was defective, the first one would beat the motherboard or another disk, and here only the CX 400 fails. The power supply does not turn off, it works stably, moreover, I bought a new one in x-com and all the rest, except for the Samsung disk.
There is something else that when you turn on the computer to the network, the power supply gives a fraction of a second of voltage, but you only hear the click of the DVD drive on the USB and the backlight of the motherboard flashes, but I called the x-com and they told me that it was normal. nothing breaks down and I am very happy with these components.
So either the power supply is actually faulty or a fake-quality disk (it cost PLN 245 - I cut myself to junk and I have junk. Cheap meat dogs eat
).
I had and still have a Sandiska 128GB SSD bought in 2014, which is still working today. Goodram supposedly makes very bad quality discs - is it true or maybe I made a mistake.
I am asking for a quick answer
