    Hello

I have this teapot Zelmer CK1020. Opening the lid after pressing a button has not worked for some time and I have no warranty for it. I would like to know what part to buy (can I do it at all) and how to replace it?

It's probably similar to mine. At home I can check, but it seems to me that there are 2 bolts in the front where the "spout" is. You have to send something thin with e.g. tin cans after% on two sides at the same time. Will open. I had this problem and I didn't have to buy anything, just strip everything and clean it because the stone began to fill and block the mechanism. Around 19:00 I can take photos of these bolts.

I have a similar kettle and I had the same problem. It is necessary to unscrew the two screws from the bottom of the cover - remove the top and look at the plastic mechanisms if they did not break. To open the lid, use the button on the kettle handle - the button presses the stem, which in turn is on a pendulum-like lever. The lever is placed in the fork of the U-shaped plastic element, which 'pulls out' the lid spout by bending the spring against it. For me, the two plastic elements forming the forks on which the pendulum pin is attached broke on one side. With this turn of events, the lever that opens the lid does not work, because it is not in the fork. First, I cut out similar rectangular elements from plastic in place of broken ones and glued with epoxy glue. After two days they fell off. Then I added new elements but no longer glued, I just drilled with a 2 'drill and screwed a small screw with the rest of the plastic part. For now, everything works and flies.
    Greetings
