    Hello!
I am going to buy an inverter welder. Many copies come with the ArcForce function. Can somebody explain to me a peasant reason what it really is? What does it mean ? Because the descriptions are too much my head can not infer. I am thinking about the MAGNUM SNAKE 230 model. The welder will be used for home use, small constructions made of angles or flat bars.

    Now do you understand?

    ARC FORCE function:

ARC FORCE allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Reducing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a smaller penetration depth, while increasing the value of the function results in deeper penetration and the possibility of short arc welding. When setting the highest value for the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to "push the electrode into the pool of molten metal and burn the material through.

I just wanted to describe it briefly but on a peasant reason than to copy and paste.

It seems to me that it's too trivial for understanding to translate it into peasant reason :)
I'm not a welder, I had a gun and flashed my hands once and I understood it without a problem.

This is a function that allows you to choose how far the electrode fuses from the material. Different types of electrodes require a different arc length, i.e. the distance between the electrode and the pool. Acid electrodes are welded with a long arc, basic ones a bit smaller and cellulose ones with the shortest arc. Different electrodes fuse differently.
