Level 2 concentration of nitrogen oxides NOx, this error cannot be deleted, it remains in the memory for 400 days or 9600 hours. If you do not have any other active faults in memory, clear the lamp.

I presume erasing the MIL will not rectify the cause of the failure. Expect a repeat.

Rather, it is something else that causes incorrect readings from the sensor, e.g. a fault in the AdBlue system, EGR, clogged / leaky exhaust, etc.
Something that causes the NOx limits in the exhalation to be exceeded, which also does not rule out a fault in the sensor itself, but is less likely to fail.

There is no EGR in the first 5 euros.
I would start by replacing the filters. Then cleaning the dispenser and injector. Another is checking the tightness of the exhaust, I would focus here on the harmonica - the flexible connector. If there was still a problem, I would use a different NOx for the replacement. It can even be from a passenger car, everything fits ;)

I have had the same error for several days. In addition, I sometimes feel the NOx compliance error. I put the probe from the passenger car, I'm talking about the very end. From that moment, i.e. about half a year, it showed me a compatibility error, and recently 5531. Look for the problem in the converter or in the very tip of the probe? I also have a second car in which I did the same procedure, i.e. I inserted the Golf VII probe and it works flawlessly for the third year, it has already done 200,000. km and flies without any errors. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, where can I find the repair kit or the membrane itself?

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around a MAN TGX 2011 experiencing a GDK/PDF Error 05531-01, indicated by a blinking engine light and issues with AdBlue downloading. Participants suggest that the error relates to nitrogen oxides (NOx) levels, which cannot be cleared from memory easily. Potential causes include faults in the AdBlue system, EGR, or exhaust issues. Recommendations include replacing filters, cleaning the dispenser and injector, and checking exhaust tightness. One user mentions success in resolving similar issues by using a NOx probe from a passenger car. The conversation highlights the importance of addressing the root cause rather than merely clearing error codes.
