    Hello
Somehow I'm not willing to buy new modules I would prefer to repair the old one.

    T-con RUNTK 5351TP 0055FV on Samsung UE32F5000 no image

After replacing the ISL9860, there is still no voltage.
On Allegro there is a service that repairs such t-con for PLN 80

Is it possible that the new ISL is damaged? Order somewhere else?

hello, today i tried to fix two such modules and in both exchanged the systems for new ones and also how you still do not work. I read that many sells of these chips are sold on the market and I also read that ISL chip replacement helps in about 50% of these ticons failures. So maybe someone from experienced colleagues will tell us what to check next.

Maybe not so much as to check only the link with ISL which will fit the T-Con :) Because I read that these ISLs are for different voltages and you need to choose a resistor from leg 16 to ground otherwise it will not start.

After thanks at the next check ;) but the information is helpful
I have recently exchanged ISL and without any change of resistors it started and ISL from the same guy from Allegro bought. Unless it's been done before

Hello. Does anyone know what the resistor originally mounted there is? (The one marked in the picture above)

Hello, the resistor originally has 20kOhm, after installing 470kOhm with 2.6V the voltage drops to the correct 1.2V.

That's right T-con after replacing ISL is still dark on the LCD and after replacing the resistor for 330K started. Regards M.

Can't we just remove that resistor as mention in one of the youtube or other discussion forum?

I replaced ISL98602 with a new one and still not works. The Enable pin in the circuit is connected to 3.3V and experimenting I left the Enable pin floating or tied to ground and then the chip came with 1.22V around 3.3V VGL-6V only. So the enable pin has a totally inverted function than usual and if I apply a positive voltage on the pin then it stops and that's why it doesn't work. 0V in the Enable pin and partially operation so the replacement part as it looks is poor quality. The question is from where someone can buy a trusted replacement part.

I bought from China with A ......, of course, after the swap it did not work, I had to change the value of the resistor, then it started.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the repair of the T-con board RUNTK 5351TP 0055FV in the Samsung UE32F5000, specifically addressing issues related to the ISL9860 chip replacement and voltage problems. Users report that replacing the ISL9860 does not always resolve the issue of no image on the display. It is suggested that the resistor connected to the ISL chip may need adjustment, with recommendations to use values between 330k and 560k ohms to achieve the correct voltage output. Some participants mention that the quality of replacement parts can vary, leading to further troubleshooting. The original resistor value is noted to be 20k ohms, and modifications to this resistor have been successful in restoring functionality. There are also inquiries about the possibility of removing the resistor entirely.
