The tablet is powered by a DC12V adapter. 3.5A
    The tablet has two slots:
    1) HDD 1.8 inch TOSHIBA
    2) PCMCIA (PC Card)

It also has a 44PIN slot with an SSD with a 1GB system
on Aliexpres there are disks " Zheino 44pin ide / pata dom slc ssd horizontal + socket "up to 64GB but I don't know if this disc supports that much.

This CF slot is not a regular CF slot, it is a HDD1422 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive TOSHIBA slot

But you can buy a CF to Toshiba 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive adapter
    And it should work.

Alternatively, connect the Compact Flash Type I and II adapter to the aforementioned second PCMCIA socket

Hmmm, i.e. you can't use the CF slot even with a Microdrive card?
It makes my case a little complicated because I want to have RS232 in the PCMCIA slot.

And the question is, what cells are in the battery?
I must admit that CGR18650D would suit me best.

If I were you, I would let go of this shit ...
    Even privately, to one car.
AMD Geode LX 800 (500MHz) performance is tragic.
Only Geode NX walk as such (based on Athlon XP Mobile, so also antique)

After "upgrading" this amount will not be small.
A used laptop will be cheaper. As small and touch, and performance is not a priority, e.g. Panasonic T5. Small, light, resistant, not very efficient, long-lasting on battery ... CGR18650E cells

Well, this rubber housing looks so temptingly professional ...
I dreamed of regulating Stag with such a tablet instead of a laptop.
But the Earth is calling so you have to leave space and come back to reality.

Theoretically, having the CF adapter mentioned above is a Toshiba 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive only I don't have one and I won't confirm that it works.

HERE I described everything about links.

I got batteries from China yesterday and after some time I would like to have more capacity. In addition, I will replace the fluorescent lamp with LED in backlight to further relieve the equipment. At the moment, the plan is to make it a GPS navigation Tablet has bluetooth so it should handle the connection with an external GPS from NOKIA LD-3W

Maybe szajs or maybe not the question of approach and self-denial to play can be.

And what is interesting from what I see is the tablet can be expanded and has an advanced and expanded BIOS.
By getting rid of the PCMCIA socket you can solder from what I see the PCIEXPres socket plus a SIM card slot by connecting a WWAN modem we have a mobile net. However, by getting rid of the CF 1.8-inch IDE slot, there is room for a SATA slot for disks. In the model DT312 above mentioned sockets are present so who knows maybe after soldering we would be able to use them.

Yes, it is a toy. In this respect, the equipment is interesting.
But to work? Any? On a single core with performance somewhere between Pentium2 and Pentium3?
It is necessary to have a lot of self-denial.
In addition, a screen with a resolution in which I do not know whether the program for STAGA will display in full ...

Topic summary

The AZENTEK DT360 tablet requires a DC12V power supply with a current rating of 3.5A. It features two expansion slots: a 1.8-inch Toshiba HDD slot and a PCMCIA slot. Users can potentially expand storage using a 44PIN SSD or a CF to Toshiba 1.8-inch IDE Hard Drive adapter. The tablet's performance is considered subpar, comparable to older processors like Pentium II or III, which may limit its effectiveness for diagnostic tasks. Battery options include CGR18650D cells, and there are suggestions for enhancing the device's functionality, such as replacing the backlight with LED and adding GPS capabilities.
