I have a car with an on-board computer, but due to its age, there is no up-to-date navigation for it. I want to disassemble the entire panel with the radio and install the chuvi vi7 there - the point is to do it relatively easily and inexpensively. I hope you will help me a little. I have collected a few questions that are bothering me at the moment:

    1. Power
The computer is right under the windshield. I am a little afraid to keep the Chinese battery at such a temperature. The question is is it right? I planned to remove the battery and put it in a glove compartment (always a little cooler). In case of problems, I could also connect another battery instead of the original one without disassembling half of the car. I was also wondering if it was better not to get rid of the battery at all? Unfortunately, this would involve firing the tablet each time the car is started (when driving around the city, I would reach the destination before it would fire :) ).

    2. SD, SIM, USB peripherals
I have always had a poor soldering, so I try to keep it to a minimum. I would like to use Chinese extension cords and lead them to the clipboard, something like this:

Will it work at all? :)

    3. Sound
Unfortunately, the radio does not allow external audio connection. Theoretically, this can be solved by programming an additional circuit, but this solution is too much for me (maybe I could do it, but I would rather not make it temporarily and I do not want to risk consuming the entire radio). That's why I want to play the sound from the tablet with the cable to the transmitter that will turn on after turning the key. Can I expect any problems with this? The transmitter is rather cheap, for PLN 20 with Allegro - additionally with bluetooth, so it could work as a hands-free set.

Thank you in advance for all comments. If you see any other problems that I will have to deal with, please write.

There is no right answer to this question. Li-ion, li-po, etc. batteries can swell or catch fire by themselves (the famous samsungi, or batteries in laptops). Will mounting it in the glove box do anything? I rather doubt if the car stands in the sun on a summer day, the temperature will be high anyway.

probably safer, but there is a matter of turning the device off and on. If you eliminate the battery and turn on the power supply after ignition, you will turn off the tablet each time during operation.

Don't buy the cheapest. They do not keep the frequency (you can hear noise), and they fall very quickly. For me, 2 pieces worked for a total of 3 months, after another failure I gave up.
